In December and January, my mother had 3 exterior doors and 3 storm doors replaced. They have been working well, but during a recent power outage, we discovered an issue with one of the storm doors. When attempting to open the window to let in some air, we realized that the screen was not attached to the slide down window. As a result, the window slammed down due to the weight of the glass. Although we do not have proof of purchase since the doors were installed by the siding company, it is known that the contractor purchased the doors from Home Depot in Amarillo. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Jim Bulin.

I have Anderson Renewal windows and have been struggling to find someone knowledgeable to assist me for the past two weeks. Despite purchasing these windows for my entire house, I have encountered a broken one and have been unable to receive any help. This all started with a free consultation I had at the Bloomsburg Fair in Pennsylvania. The local site in Syracuse, where I am located, refuses to take responsibility and rejected my call abruptly. The windows were originally installed by Anderson professionals. Is there anyone willing to help resolve this frustrating situation?

I require an extended-lip door strike to replace Andersen part #[redacted], which is compatible with Andersen's Inswing French Door latch #[redacted] acquired in [redacted]. If Andersen doesn't offer an extended-lip receiver for this latch, I would appreciate information on who does and the corresponding part number. I've already spent considerable time on the phone and contacted a local dealer without success. Andersen's extended hold times are disappointing. Implementing an automated callback system or adding another customer service representative might improve the situation. In contrast, Marvin Doors handles customer inquiries promptly and pleasantly, setting a positive example for Andersen to follow.

Three days ago, I called to discuss [redacted] series conversion kits with a representative. Prior to sending the email order, she requested quote number 1[redacted] be included. I provided all necessary measurements and details from existing sashes. However, I only received one of each item instead of the complete order. Despite emailing multiple times, the issue persists. I was informed about the current 20% discount and an additional 10% discount if I watched a video and provided the viewing code. As a builder with approximately $[redacted],[redacted] worth of windows awaiting order, I have a pressing need for timely completion of this order. Though I am a loyal customer, I require prompt attention to resolve this matter. I have made repeated attempts to reach customer service via email and was promised a callback by 10 a.m. today after being placed on hold last night. Sincerely, Ray, Brennan Custom Builders Inc, [redacted] East Drive, Point Pleasant NJ [redacted].

Hello, My name is Hanan Keinan, and I am from Israel. About four years ago, Andersen's windows were installed in my house. Recently, on 20.1.[redacted], we contacted your company's representative in Israel regarding a cracked windowpane due to sun exposure. The window shattered without any external impact, creating a potential hazard as it is a large window in the living room where we have small children. Despite our repeated calls to customer service in Israel, no replacement glass has been provided since the initial report. This delay not only affects the safety of our home but also impacts our ability to rent out the house on platforms like Airbnb, leading to financial losses. We hope for a prompt resolution to this issue and are willing to provide photographs of the damaged window and communication with customer service if necessary. Thank you, Hanan and Maya Keinan
