I was traveling on Amtrak ** California Zephyr leaving Payson UT to Chicago starting Saturday July *, **** at *:** AM. I traveled the entire way in Coach ***. Two rows ahead of me, there was a woman with three children, aged *, *, and * years old traveling to Chicago and then to Indiana. Since our trip was longer than expected due to a collision with an SUV, I had more time to observe and interact with the children. A few hours from Chicago I spoke with the Conductor about my findings. Being a licensed public school teacher, IL and UT PEL, I am trained to observe children and suspicious behavior. As I told the conductor, I believe these three children are not from or adopted by this one mother. My sense is that they are abducted children and I was even able to identify two their faces on the California Missing Children site. The conductor told me he would look into this and if so he would call the authorities. As I left the train he nodded to me, but did not tell me if he had indeed called the FBI about this. I would like to know if he did. If he did not, I would like the Manifest for the train and I will call the authorities and report this myself. Thank you. Barbara Sora Jederan Shpack
