I feel my fianc* was inappropriately harassed by Amtrak employee today during a current ride. I would like to report this guy for embarrassing my fianc* I bought the Amtrak ticket for. His card was declined for water (work travelers have this happen commonly) and he went to call me so I could put money straight into his account and in this time the man ticket checking announces in front of the whole train that my fianc* is trying to steal. This is absurd you can check the Reciepts of our bank statements and video on train cardinal ** from Philadelphia to Cincinnati . I would prefer someone to talk to me over the phone about this matter and also a refund and possibly a free ticket*credit for him so he will want to ride Amtrak again with me. I know conductors probably are tired as everyone on that train but if they have to announce to a room full of people something they did not witness that is being falsely accused. Same thing as false advertisement. Many companies don’t appreciate the riders:humans who hold the whole project together. I find it careless every time I find myself in the Amtrak train bathrooms they smell like urine and door slides open on people, old, young, mothers trying to change their babies. You need to step up and do right thing before you assume passengers like stinky bathrooms or steal products. I have called and been on call waiting for over ten mins twice now already spoke to someone and they carelessly brushed me off to more robotic call waiting.
