is unfortunately a concern and NOT a complement. I was traveling on December *th and missed my morning train to Milwaukee from union station. Totally fine, I knew that the traffic was horrendous and this was a definitely a possibility. I rarely utilize the train so I was also trying to navigate the terminal and track. When I came up the track I didn’t even have a chance to see if I was in the correct area before getting yelled at by the agent. I was confused because I didn’t know what was happening. After the agent shouting *-* times that we ( I was traveling with my sister) have missed the train I finally said,” we got it!” She processed to shout, “I’m not talking to you!” I was confused because I truly thought another person was in the area so we looked around and my sister said, “ who are you talking to?” The rude agent said You (to my sister) which she replied I understand we missed our train, why are you shouting? **We came back for the next train in which my brother was also on. He went to the track directly again not familiar with the process and she again shouted infront of everyone, “AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOURE GOING, SIR?” Again in an extremely disrespectful, rude, degrading way. **I know I’m not the first and unfortunately won’t be the last but shame on someone who is PAID to be helpful, friendly and most importantly, represent the company. Your employee is embarrassing! this has truly made me reconsider Amtrak. I hope this is used as a teaching tool. Shouting at anyone is disrespectful and sounds trashy. Just like her, I’m an adult and have paid money to hopefully try to make the experience a little less stressful. I hope you can track down this middle aged African American women that was working at union station in Chicago On December *th @gate B** for the *:** am train and **:** am. Going over basic customer service would be a great staDr!
