I have been trying to talk with a customer service rep. regarding the new Washington law for authorizations. I have been transferred more than * times during one call and after all the times spent on hold, I am unable to reach the auth dept before they close at ****am. I am only seeking to verify that our business no longer needs to request auth prior to a "new episode of care" if we have not seen the client in the last ** days. I would also like to verify that after * visits, the request we send is the same as before ********. I am unable to get updated auth requirements which is slowing down our ability to schedule patients in a timely manner. Thank you for your time.
