Get our money back because we were physically unable to take the flight ... I purchased AMEX travel insurance in February the flight was June **, I was ill and could not go. My doctor wrote the condition, we sent it with the rest of the required paperwork to AMEX travel. We are having a TERRIBLE, AWFUL experience. They will not tell you where it is, when it will be settled or their name. Now we have been told that the trip was never cancelled, we have a cancellation * from Jet Blue. We (my husband) and myself have counted the hours we have spent trying to get them to answer us, help us, tell us what is going on and we get the canned answer the examiners will call you when they are done, when that will be remains a mystery. It is $****.**, we are ** years old could someone please help us, I have tried all I know to do, I cannot afford to lose this money, it is effecting my health now, my blood pressure is elevated. I have gone * hours this morning speaking to * very nice woman who could not, the last one would not help. American Express is bigger than I am. I will do all I can to be sure no one ever has to go thru this, American Express will be the story I will tell to everyone I can. This treatment is worse than anything I have ever received, so tell the person who says "thank you for being a customer of AMEX for ** years we appreciate your business" that is sure a real line of nonsense, no one who appreciates treats you like a pain in the *** and a non entity and does not help you.
That I am a person of ** years old, I have given them every document they asked for and a doctors note and they want me to wait until they are ready to talk to me whether they will pay us of not
I would like a person to take the ** pages of information we completed * the doctors note (RIGHT NOW) and send me the money, I paid for the insurance in good faith, keeping in mind it is American Express I was dealing with, who I thought was honest and fair. Not so much with this case
ASK anyone Chase, Amex, Amazon they will tell you, I buy they get paid ASAP.
