I experienced a distressing situation during the scheduled maintenance on 1/14/[redacted]. This led to a misunderstanding at a restaurant where I was unable to pay my bill due to the disruption. Despite multiple attempts to explain my predicament to customer service, I was met with limited assistance and an abrupt disconnection. Efforts to resolve the matter by transferring funds through Venmo were futile as the transaction was declined, leaving me in a difficult position. Upon the conclusion of the maintenance, my funds were accessible but a $[redacted] Venmo payment to my wife remained on hold, causing further complications that ultimately resulted in my arrest. Despite seeking resolution from customer service, I have encountered obstacles in retrieving the funds or completing the payment. Subsequent communication with Venmo revealed discrepancies in the transaction process, attributing the issue to American Express Serve. The lack of communication about the maintenance and the ensuing consequences have been distressing, prompting me to consider joining a class action lawsuit. It is crucial to address these issues promptly to prevent further repercussions on my financial stability and reputation.

Yesterday, my husband Andi and I went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart in Petal, MS. Prior to our visit, I checked our account balance, which showed $1,[redacted].02. However, when we tried to pay for our groceries totaling $90 and some odd cents, my card was declined due to system issues. Strangely, although the card was declined, the $90 was deducted each time we swiped the card. Unfortunately, we have neither paid for the groceries nor received a refund on the card. I'm unsure if Wal-Mart is responsible for reimbursing me, providing the groceries, or handling the card situation. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello, I have tried calling the dispute/fraud number multiple times, but I keep getting transferred to customer service where no one answers my calls, only an automatic voice response. I need to dispute several transactions on my account that I did not make or authorize. The transactions in question are as follows: Jan 15 - Store Purchase Crif Dogs - $0.82 Jan 16 - Google Services - $0.10 Jan 17 - Google Services - $1.06 Jan 17 - Purchase Google Habby PTE LTD - $2.13 Jan 17 - Foreign Transactions Zomato - $0.32 Jan 17 - Store Purchase Zomato - $12.19 It's really frustrating not having direct customer service to address these kinds of issues. Additionally, it's inconvenient not to have an ATM at Walmart, forcing me to pay fees to withdraw or deposit money. I've had trouble disputing transactions before. Why isn't my card being protected? You can reach me at [redacted]. Please help resolve this matter. Thank you, Sandra L.

On January 14th, I visited the UPS store in Cocoa Beach, Florida. I used my Amex Serve card but realized it was declined, despite having a balance of over $[redacted] the night before. My card was cloned, and unauthorized transactions were made at several Walmart stores 3 hours away from me in Florida. I reported the fraud to Amex Serve and was informed I would receive a provisional credit if the issue was not resolved within 10 business days. After this period, I have only received a credit for one Walmart store. Amex Serve's call center is in the Philippines and they have forwarded my case to their fraud team in Utah, which I was told does not have a direct phone number. I am waiting for an email from them. It is clear that multiple fraudulent charges were made at Walmart locations far from me, and I am unsure why Walmart is not crediting back my account.

I have not received my new Serve card replacement in the mail. My tax refund has already been deposited into my temporary Serve card issued by my Jackson Hewitt tax representative. I am extremely upset and frustrated because I have been struggling to reach a live person over the phone. For three days, I have been trying to resolve this through the online account and the unhelpful automated system. This matter needs to be resolved urgently because I am now behind on my rental payments due to this issue.

I have identified an unauthorized charge on my account. It was made through Groupon for a hotel named Baymont by Wyndham, totaling $71.61. There was also a second attempt to book the Embassy Suites Hotel through Groupon, but they indicated this transaction did not go through. I did not personally make these reservations or use Groupon to book these hotels. Recently, my Google account was hacked, where my passwords were stored, and my Amex Serve card was the default payment method. I suspected something was wrong when my funds were depleting unexpectedly. I did not approve these transactions. Please assist me in obtaining a refund as I am now left with only $3 in my account.

I recently encountered an issue with my American Express Serve card being sent to the wrong address, resulting in me not receiving the card due to the missing apartment number. This has caused problems as my Google Chrome no longer remembers my passwords and I require the card number to access my account. When I contacted customer service, I was informed that without the card number, they couldn't assist me even if I provided other accurate information. This seemed unreasonable given the situation. During my call, I experienced confusion as the representatives seemed to contradict each other regarding my account information. I am concerned about the security of my card. I am seeking a solution to update my account information to ensure I receive my tax return. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Last night, I withdrew $[redacted] from my Amex digital wallet. Today, my transactions are being declined, and the customer service representatives seem inexperienced. I am stranded without gas or funds, feeling extremely frustrated. My method of cashing out involved a money transfer to access cash from an ATM since I don't possess a bank or debit card. Now, I have $[redacted] inaccessible and unusable. I need immediate resolution to this issue to regain full control over my funds. I'm disappointed as two days have been wasted, resulting in nearly $[redacted] of lost wages. This situation is unacceptable, and I require a prompt and effective solution from Amex to rectify the problem.

I attempted to pay my cell phone bill online using my American Express Serve card, but the payment authorization failed. Despite multiple attempts, my phone remains disconnected. Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed the cell phone company charged $[redacted] three times. Although I contacted them and was told the charges would be reversed, the funds have not been returned to my account. Despite reaching out to Jackson Hewitt, American Express Serve, and my phone company, I have not made any progress. I kindly request that these transactions be reversed promptly as I urgently require the funds back on my card.

I have been attempting to contact a representative, but there seems to be no option available. Every two weeks, money is automatically taken from my card. Yesterday, I received a deposit of [redacted]. I made a purchase today for 21.18 and do not recognize another charge for 25.42. Following this, there were three unauthorized transactions on my card: 17.23, 11.48, and 6.88. While at Pizza Hut around 11:40-11:45, I paid 21.18 for my meal without adding a tip, yet my card shows a charge of 25.42. I explicitly requested that no third parties have access to my account. These unauthorized charges total over 50.00. Please address this issue promptly and provide an update as waiting for an email response is time-consuming. I would appreciate a more efficient way to communicate with customer service to resolve recurring problems. Today, I used an ATM that charged me 2.50, despite the screen indicating a 2.00 fee.

I received a mail today from American Express Serve informing me that my tax refund has been received and is now available online. I tried to log in but realized I forgot my password. When I selected the "forgot password" option, it asked for my card number and PIN. Unfortunately, I haven't received my card yet, so I can't proceed. I contacted customer service hoping for guidance, but I couldn't reach a live representative and couldn't get any information without my card number and password. I urgently need to access my funds, but I'm at a standstill. Any suggestions on what steps I should take next to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

I recently received an email from AMEX Serve stating that my account has been terminated due to Terms of Service violations. I have been a loyal customer for over six years and have always followed the rules. Each month, I receive deposits from my husband's Railroad Retirement annuity which I rely on for various expenses like rent, groceries, and utilities. Unfortunately, AMEX Serve currently holds over $[redacted] of my funds that I am unable to access. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter by transferring the funds to my Wells Fargo account for easier access. Thank you for your help in advance.

I recently set up my American Express Serve account to use for my tax return. After receiving an email notifying me that the funds were available, I tried logging into my Serve account but was told I had forgotten my password. Despite numerous attempts, none of my usual passwords worked. When contacting American Express Serve customer service, I couldn't reach a live representative and was prompted for information I didn't have due to not receiving my card yet. I urgently need access to my funds and wonder why there isn't an option to verify my identity using other means. It's frustrating not being able to speak to a real person at American Express to resolve this issue.

I am facing a critical situation as my Amex Serve account was unexpectedly terminated due to a violation. I have $[redacted] in the account needed urgently for purchasing Insulin for my Diabetic husband. This money, sourced from the Railroad Retirement Board, is our only means of support for essentials like groceries and living expenses. I urgently require the funds to avoid serious health repercussions. I request the transfer of the funds to my Wells Fargo account or a check sent promptly to the address on file. I am willing to provide necessary details to an Amex Agent. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Email received from AMEX SERVE: Dear Deborah Smith, We regret to inform you that following a review of your American Express ServeĀ® Account, it has been determined that certain activities have violated the Serve Consumer User Agreement leading to the permanent suspension of your Account and its privileges. For further inquiries, please contact Serve Customer Care at the address provided below. Sincerely, The American Express Serve Team

I reloaded my prepaid American Express Serve card but forgot my PIN since it's been a while. After calling to access my account balance, someone tried using the card at an ATM and ended up locking me out. I tried to regain access online but the system also locked me out. The verification email and security question answers are not working. Despite multiple calls to American Express, I haven't been able to reach anyone for help. I'm currently in Townsend, Georgia needing to use the card. I'm seeking assistance to regain access to my account. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Your help is much appreciated.

I added funds to my prepaid card but forgot the PIN when trying to use it at the ATM due to not using it often. I called Customer Service to check the balance after entering the PIN provided over the phone. However, I'm having trouble accessing my account online. I requested a verification email, but it keeps saying my session has timed out. When I tried to answer security questions, it just loops back to the verification screen. I've contacted American Express Customer Service on April 4th and 5th, and I was put on hold for a long time. Please reach out to me via the email address or at [redacted] to assist me in regaining access to my account.

I have been on hold for over two hours and have been transferred three times. Unfortunately, the customer service agents were rude and unable to perform multiple tasks. Initially calling to change my address, I had to wait for two hours to speak to someone who could help. Even then, the agent couldn't send out a new card, so I was put on hold again. It seems that there is a lack of employee training or motivation, making it challenging for customers to receive assistance. I am disappointed in the service from Jackson Hewitt and American Express and doubt I will use them again. I may not even receive a response to this email.

I mistakenly entered the wrong ATM pin, which locked my account. After attempting a mobile check for $[redacted].00, the check was accepted and posted to my account. However, upon visiting the ATM, I was notified of the wrong pin entry, resulting in the account being locked. I've been on hold with customer service for over 3 hours without any assistance. I urgently need access to my account restored. Could you kindly unlock my account as soon as possible? The long wait times are making this situation very stressful. For immediate assistance, please contact me at [redacted] or via phone at [redacted] or [redacted]. Waiting for 4 hours is incredibly frustrating. Your help is greatly appreciated given my current financial difficulties.

Customer Service, I received a Serve card ending in "[redacted]," but I never activated it as I was ineligible for a [redacted] refund. However, I mistakenly received my stimulus check in this account and inadvertently registered it. To access the funds online, I created a new account ending in "[redacted]." I've tried calling customer service multiple times without success as I couldn't reach an agent for help. Is it possible to transfer the balance from the inactive card to the new one I opened by mistake? I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed. Thank you, Jeffrey S. Smoot

In March, I filed my taxes through "Credit Karma" and requested a tax refund card, scheduled to arrive on March 16th. As of April 16th, the card has not reached me. I also didn't get the welcome email to verify my email address for card activation. Despite this, I received an email confirming my $1,[redacted] stimulus check was deposited on the card. I've tried calling customer service for two weeks, enduring over an hour on hold before being disconnected. I wonder if their phone lines are operational at all.
