I initially paid for an incorrect flight date in the rush I was in to submit my leave to my command. I will not be able to take the flight back as I will be far from the airport in another city celebrating the new year and would like to request a change in my returning flight to at least a few days after. I also found out that the flight I originally wanted was cheaper and so was looking for at least some of the money I spent back. This is my first time flying American and would hate for this to be my first experience with it, but I digress, my flights are from OAJ to MFE on Dec **th and the returning flight is currently Jan *nd. The total cost of that is $***.**. I planned on changing the flight from MFE to OAJ on the *th of Jan but could not make that happen due to lack of funds from buying Christmas gifts for my family. I'm aware of the refund policy but I could not get into contacting customer support for the longest time because cell service doesn't reach where I live. I just recently found out about this online version of customer support, as I am not so tech savvy.
