Below I have names, dates, record locator* and ticket info. *My sister and I booked two separate flights while in San Diego California from San-BGR. I flew a last minute One-way flight with American Airlines-AA to visit family from Bangor-BGR to San Diego-SAN on Aug.*th. And later booked a separate OW flight back. My sister had already purchased a RT ticket from SAN to BGR earlier than my arrival date. So I naturally wanted to return with her on the same day. Our flight was expected to be Oct. *rd. We both missed that flight! Hers was a RT ticket as where mine was a one way, because I live in Maine and she was coming for another visit. Well I later bought another last minute ticket with American Airlines and flew on Oct. **th from SAN to BGR. That’s not a problem. The problem is with my sisters flight. She was expecting to return home to SAN Nov. **th with the RT return flight that she paid for! Today we found THE ENTIRE FLIGHT HAS BEEN CANCELLED! Why? She paid for a RT ticket and just because she didn’t make the first flight doesn’t mean she wasn’t expecting to not have a return flight. We both are fully aware that American Airlines are not at fault for our missed flights from San Diego to Bangor. And we’ve paid for our tickets we’ve paid for our mistakes and got ourselves here. Please understand that we are valued customers and decent people, we didn’t bother you about a refund or ask for anything in return. We are only asking that you give her what she paid for by valuing one return ticket for my sister Judy from BGR to SAN. Together we believe that this could easily be resolved and we can continue to fly your trusted airlines for many upcoming flights to and from across the United States. Best believe your the best airline of our choice and want to resolve this matter as quickly and easily as possible. I would like to add my consideration for the holidays I know they are the busiest time for all airlines and would be most obliged if you could contact me at your earliest convenience. She is in no hurry to leave and wouldn’t mind being booked as far as *months out. Thank you in advance for the most favorable response.
