Good morning. Last night, my family and I were supposed to fly from Fort Lauderdale to LaGuardia, but our flight was delayed almost 4.5 hours. Unfortunately, after boarding, the flight got canceled due to a malfunction. However, our luggage wasn't taken off the plane, including my untagged hand luggage with important items inside. I'm afraid it might get lost when it lands in NY this morning. I urge anyone to please alert the baggage handlers about my bag to avoid it being misplaced. Additionally, we were rerouted through Chicago, turning our previous direct flight into an 8-hour journey, causing distress to our young children and disrupting our plans for NYC. I'm also concerned about my missing black carry-on with a brown business card under the name Isaac Arber. Your assistance in resolving this frustrating situation would be greatly appreciated.

While traveling from Santa Rosa, CA to Durango, CO with a layover in Phoenix, I encountered issues with my baggage. Despite following instructions from airport staff, my bag did not make it to Durango as promised, causing inconvenience in a small airport with limited assistance. Upon its late arrival the next day, I discovered damage to the outer zipper pull, which I temporarily fixed with duct tape. When seeking assistance at the airport for a more secure repair, my request was not fulfilled. Additionally, my flight to Phoenix was canceled, leading to rerouting through Denver to SFO. The combination of the delays, the baggage mishap, and the broken zipper pull has created frustration. I aim to have the broken zipper repaired at no cost, as it was damaged due to mishandling by the airline.

I flew from Santa Rosa, CA to Phoenix, AZ and then to Durango, CO. In Phoenix, I encountered the Valet Claim Check system for the first time and went to Baggage Claim to retrieve my bag. After being directed to Carousel #5, my bag did not arrive in time for my connection to Durango. I was assured it would be sent on the same flight. Arriving in Durango, my bag was missing. I was given a Delayed Baggage Receipt and instructed to call [redacted] for updates. My bag was delivered the next day with a broken zipper pull, which I secured with duct tape. Despite requesting additional taping at the airport, it was not done properly. To avoid a long delay due to a cancelled flight to Phoenix, I was rebooked on a United flight through Denver to SFO. I would like the broken zipper repaired without incurring any costs as it was damaged while in transit.

My luggage (Bag Tag: AA455013) was delayed twice today despite me paying the $25 fee for 1 checked bag. After filing the delay claim (File #: JLNAA[redacted]1), I was assured by the representative at ([redacted]) that my luggage would be on the 3pm flight from DFW to JLN, but this was incorrect according to JLN. American Eagle JLN informed me that my luggage would be on the 7pm flight, which never arrived as there is no such flight from DFW to JLN at that time. I eventually received my luggage on the 11pm flight. Trying to contact American Airlines at DFW was unsuccessful due to their unhelpful phone system, particularly on weekends. This disappointing experience with American Airlines has left me frustrated. I am seeking a refund of my checked bag fee at the least. I also submitted a claim online with Allianz Global Assistance for Trip Protection, but I never received the claim information email. As a result, I didn't receive a claim number. I am requesting a refund of the Trip Protection fee due to the poor customer support received from Allianz Global Assistance in handling this issue.

Last night, on 10/13, I checked in my bag on Flight #[redacted] from Las Vegas to Phoenix, which got delayed. I then had to take a different flight, #[redacted], this morning from Phoenix to Albuquerque. Upon arrival, my bag was missing. The representative at the airport told me they sent it from Las Vegas that morning, which I confirmed online to be untrue as the last check was in Las Vegas the night before. I've been monitoring flights from Phoenix to Albuquerque, expecting my bag to arrive at 2:30 pm as per the representative's information, but there have been no updates or calls. I'm frustrated by the lack of actual assistance and need to speak with someone who can genuinely help me retrieve my luggage. I've only experienced lost luggage once before, and that airline communicated well. Please provide the necessary assistance as I cannot return to Las Vegas to locate my bag personally.

During my recent trip from Kentucky to New York, I encountered several issues with American Airlines. Despite checking in electronically and paying the $25 baggage fee, my bag turned out to be overweight, resulting in an additional $75 overweight charge. However, I was puzzled to discover an extra $25 checked bag fee on my bill, causing my total to reach $[redacted]. Upon arrival in NY, my bag was lost, leading to a frustrating experience at the American Airlines help desk as I searched for it without much assistance. Given the multiple inconveniences I faced, I believe a full refund of $[redacted] for the baggage fees is warranted from American Airlines.

I was on Flight [redacted] from Washington, DC to Charlotte, NC, where I had to check my carry-on bag due to the late arrival causing us to be rebooked on Flight [redacted] to Raleigh. Despite the confusion, I spoke with the helpful American Airlines staff at gate C12 in Charlotte regarding my black rectangular bag with "Jeep" on it that I was forced to check in DC. They checked and confirmed that my bag is on carousel B at the Charlotte airport. With little time before my flight to Raleigh leaves, I couldn't retrieve my bag without missing the flight. If possible, I would appreciate your assistance in ensuring my bag reaches Raleigh for delivery to my house. The bag tag numbers are as follows: PNR: QBOVXC, [redacted], AA 61 09 73. Thank you for your help.

My bag was delayed in DFW. It has been sitting there since 3 p.m. yesterday, and I have called multiple times. It is almost 24 hours now of it just sitting there. They keep mentioning that they have a high volume of baggage, but delayed bags are supposed to be delivered by a courier service, not regular baggage handlers! They needed to manually place an order to send it out, and they assured me they would contact me once it's on the way. However, it has been close to 24 hours now, and I require this bag by tomorrow, June 27th, with no clear update. They are unable to provide an estimated time for delivery. I am strongly considering calling an Uber to take me to the airport myself to retrieve it, as the delay is becoming quite frustrating!

My American Airlines flight #[redacted] from Chicago to Los Angeles yesterday got cancelled, so I booked a United Airlines flight #[redacted] instead. Unfortunately, my bag did not make it to LA with me. I filed a claim with UA under file number LAX32079M, and my bag tag from AA is [redacted]. AA confirmed my bag was on a late flight to LA despite my UA arrival. AA instructed me that since I landed on a UA flight, UA must deliver my bag. UA, however, claims they are unable to locate my bag and have requested AA to send it to them. The lack of communication between the airlines is causing a delay in the delivery of my bag. I'm seeking assistance to have AA bring my bag to UA for delivery to my home. Thank you.

I had a booking from MGM to MNL via DFW on July 3. Unfortunately, due to TSA delays, I missed the departure of my flight. Even though American Airlines rescheduled me for the same route the next day, my bags were mistakenly sent from DFW to Hong Kong. They arrived there while I continued my journey from DFW to Seoul/Incheon to MNL. Upon reaching Manila, I promptly filed a report for my missing bags. After 5 days, it appears that AA has no information on the location of my lost bags. I suspect the original bag numbers were changed by the new Hong Kong route, causing confusion. What should I do next?

I am currently seeking financial compensation for the unnecessary inconvenience caused by our delayed luggage. My wife, two children, and I had a hectic journey from Louisville, KY to Connecticut with a short layover in Charlotte, NC. We checked in six bags — two at the front and four carry-ons at the gate, expecting them to be at our destination. Unfortunately, we are now at home without our essentials, including medication. Our 5-year-old is tired and missing her comfort items, and my son's ADHD medication and my wife's PTSD medication are also in the delayed luggage. This situation has been extremely disappointing and distressing for us.

I misplaced a blue plastic tea cup set with a maroon girl emblem that was intended as a gift for my grandchild. During my travels from Bangladesh, with a layover in Doha, I landed in PA on September 18th. After being assisted through security by TSA, my luggage was handed over at the American Airlines drop-off point due to my wheelchair assistance. Subsequently, I flew on AA2082 to Tampa. Upon reaching my destination and inspecting my unaccompanied luggage, I noticed the lock was gone along with the blue tea cup set that features a maroon girl emblem. I have already contacted the PA TSA lost and found department, but they did not have it. They provided me with the American Airlines lost and found contact information to report the missing item. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this matter.

On Friday, June 11, [redacted], I checked in one bag at the American Airlines baggage check center at OKC airport for a flight to PHL via DFW. Delays during my OKC to DFW flight made me miss my connecting flight. Although the DFW flight was rescheduled for Saturday, June 12, upon arrival at PHL, my suitcase was missing. After speaking with the American Airlines baggage claims officer at PHL, it was discovered that my bag never left DFW and is currently at the baggage claim site there. They have requested DFW to send the bag to my home address. I've been continuously tracking my bag online, but it still shows it's at the DFW baggage claim office. I'm seeking assistance as the website and phone systems have not been useful.

Both my outbound and return American Airlines flights were delayed by 24 hours each. On the way out, I managed to get a few hours of sleep at a motel after speaking to a staff member who mentioned reimbursement. On the return journey from Dallas to Austin, faced with another 24-hour delay, my daughter and I decided to rent a car for over $[redacted] to drive home to Georgetown, Texas. Now, my luggage is stranded at Austin airport, and they are suggesting I drive there to collect it. As an elderly person, I am not in a position to make that trip and believe they should arrange delivery to my address at [redacted] Armstrong Drive in Georgetown, Texas, [redacted]. Both legs of my trip turned into nightmares due to the extensive delays.

Our party was involuntarily removed from American Airlines Flight [redacted] scheduled for 7/19, resulting in our baggage being sent ahead without us from San Francisco to Dallas, with the final destination of Cancun on AA Flight [redacted]. We had to secure alternate transport to reach our destination, however, our luggage did not accompany us, causing an urgent situation for all four of us. To further compound the inconvenience, we were charged an extra $[redacted]. One of the baggage ticket numbers is AA 39 51 03. Our contact phone number is [redacted]. We urgently request the immediate delivery of our baggage to Moon Palace Nizuc in Cancun. The absence of our belongings has forced us to spend more money on necessities, leading to additional expenses. We have already missed a night at the all-inclusive resort, incurred unforeseen costs for transport, and faced the inconvenience of waiting for a flight. The situation has created a significant financial burden on our vacation that we did not anticipate. Thank you.

I am a flight attendant for AA, based in NY but living in CLT. I recently flew from DFW to CLT on July 24, [redacted], as a non-rev. Unfortunately, my crew bag with tag number [redacted] for Flt [redacted] got left behind in DFW. Despite contacting various authorities and the flight service manager, my bag remains unlocated after almost a week. It's a crew bag with a black Eiffel Tower design, a yellow and black crew tag, and a tag for Flt [redacted]. I don't have any work items in it, but I still need it back. Please contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] if you find it. Thank you for your help. - Kelleigh L.

I flew on AA flight [redacted] from RSW to Chicago O'Hare on 11/04. My name is Billie Young and my contact number is [redacted]. I forgot to check my bag at the counter and left it with the baggage assistant at Gate 5. However, upon landing at Chicago O'Hare, my bag was missing along with the strollers I had left there. I did not see it at the baggage claim and due to a tight connection, I couldn't file a claim. Could you please forward my bag to Beth Counsil at Via Ugo Foscolo 8, [redacted], Quinto Vicentino, Italy? Thank you sincerely.

Upon arriving in Providence at 1 a.m., I was informed that my bag was delayed from my initial flight from Fort Lauderdale to Charlotte before my subsequent flight to Providence. Although I checked my bag at the counter, I couldn't wait for it due to my 77-year-old husband waiting in the car to drive me home. Today, when attempting to track the bag, I encountered an issue with typing in the bag locator number. The system indicated that my name and number did not exist, despite having entered the information successfully for the delivery last night. This situation is especially frustrating for a senior citizen like me who is not very computer savvy. The missing bag is a cloth-sided blue wheeled bag with a leather luggage tag in addition to the issued one and a red, white, and blue flag ribbon. The bag locator number is JAXKIC, and the name and address associated with it are Dolson at 69 Carroll Ave, Newport.

I flew from Knoxville, TN to Charlotte, NC then to Austin, TX on December 18, [redacted], on flight AA [redacted]. My two carry-on suitcases were valet checked at the gate in Knoxville, but they did not arrive in Austin. I filed a claim at the baggage claim in Austin and was informed that my luggage was in Charlotte. However, when I try to track my luggage using the bag claim tickets or record locator number on the website, it says they are not recognized. How can I locate my luggage?

My bags were checked in at the American Airlines baggage service office in Charlotte, NC at 1 AM. I was assured they would be on the first flight to Baltimore today. However, the bags are still at the service office as the flight has already departed. I contacted their customer service, and they mentioned they would reach out once they locate the bags, as they were not loaded onto the plane this morning.
