I placed order last night. I printed receipt. This morning I wake up and find an email from Amazon stating that my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I called Amazon to resolve issue. I was told that I would have to wait for ** hours. The issue should have been resolved when I called from my account phone number, being the purchaser and card holder verifying that I made the purchase from the address. I was told to wait ** hours. I told the operator that if Amazon was really concerned with there being suspicious activity on my card that I would just cancel the card. I closed the credit card account. Why should I be exposed to ** hours of someone possibly using my card. If that wasn't a possibility and it could be resolved, why didn't Amazon? Now I need to cancel the order because the credit card is closed and I also want to close my Amazon account. Thanks!
