Hello, I purchased *York S*-*********** * Genteq Evergreen *** HP *** Volt Replacement X-** Furnace Blower Motor*Sold by: North America HVAC *Ordered on October *, **** Order* ***-*******-********I ordered it to replace a York X** *** HP *** Volt blower motor. It arrived and I had a licensed HVAC tech install it and he said it would not work. He called the contractor * on the instruction and Genteq (Chris) agreed the motor was bad. I started a return and all they could talk about was a **% restocking fee. They said it was not compliant with my motor, but would not tell me why. I asked if they tested the motor before they sent it to me and they would not answer. They said the motor was in a used condition once they received it. It was, the tech had installed and tested it with the company. The marking on the motor was to get the orientation correct when installing the motor. I asked if they tested the motor once they received it back, and they would only say it was in used condition and could not resell as new so I was charged a ** % restocking fee. *My point is, if this motor was not defective when I received it, we would not have returned it. I had to pay $**.** to send it back and they charged **% restocking fee. So I was $***.** in and had nothing to show for it. *I would like the other half of my money be refunded. The HVAC tech and Genteq agreed that motor was defective and I am being charged because it was not in a new condition when they received it.
