Hi, My name is Sima Patel. My account is under my husband's: Nayan Patel *****@***.com**First, let me start by saying that I'm a HUGE fan of Amazon. I love going to the store physically and buying things, but many times they don't have what I want- so I literally stand in the aisle at a store and order on Amazon and my package arrives within * days- sometimes even the next day!**I wanted to let you know about my amazing experience with Amazon last night. It takes a lot to impress me. I am a VP of Operations and I have very high customer experience expectations. I'm reading the most amazing book, probably the best book ever written on the customer experience Joey Coleman's Never Lose a Customer Again. **I ordered a shoe stretcher on Aug **th and it was supposed to arrive on Aug **th. It didn't, and then it showed delivery on Aug **th. It still didn't show up, so last night (August **th) at *:** pm PST I called the customer service line. I hope you can find my call if it's recorded and see who I talked to. I wish I remembered his name. He was so kind, apologetic, and completely took responsibility for the product not getting to me on time. I thanked him and he said, this is exactly what I'm here for, to help you. **I was pretty blown away. He realized he had to call the logistic dept, so he did right away and connected me. Then, I talked to another gentleman who was equally kind and said he would feel upset too if he was in my position. I stopped and said, you know I'm not even that angry- but you guys are so good at making people feel better, I bet you could bring the angriest person to being calm and satisfied. He kept chatting with me (like a human) making small talk while he processed my refund and gave me a credit of $**. When I got done with the call I had a smile on my face. Now that's the customer experience. I very rarely get this great of service usually when I'm standing in line checking out at a store. **It's easy to do this when things are great, but how you handle situations when things are bad are a true test to how great a company is. **Thank you Amazon- and for all those that don't like the fact that you are really slowly taking over the world, I will take convenience and exceptional customer service ALL DAY LONG!!! Keep it up! Also, read the book- it really reminds me of how you all do business :) :
