The issue in GetHuman-ukulanda's own words
On June **, ****, I got an email confirmation for two online purchases on my Amazon account using my credit card attached to the account.**As soon as I saw these fraudulent charges, I immediately called Amazon and made them stop the transactions and explained that I didn’t order these purchases. They mentioned one other transaction as well which was also fraudulent but I didn’t get a confirmation on that purchase via email. I called my bank and cancelled that card immediately as well.**My bank refunded the amount and investigated the whole affair. Meanwhile, I received an Amazon package. As I have been ordering several things in June, I opened the box and found that they had indeed shipped * of the * items purchased without my consent. The third item purchased was an Amazon gift card which was shipped to a different address.**Waiting for further instructions from Amazon, I kept the items mailed to me (haven’t opened or used them) even though I didn’t purchase or order them delivered. Since I opened the box already, I threw it out.**Now, more than a month later, my bank has reversed the refund under the logic that the Amazon seller showed tracking of a package delivered to my house. I called the bank and they said, since I didn’t return the package, it makes it a legal purchase. But they had no explanation for the $** gift card purchase sent to God knows where. Some shoddy investigative team this is. They never called to ask me any questions.*So now, I’m not only stuck with the two unwanted items in my possession that were charged on my card, but also the $** gift card.**Meanwhile, Amazon doesn’t even let me login with my old username and password, no matter how many times I changed the password. I created a new account with a new username and password, but I don’t have my old Order History so I can’t reach the independent seller who mailed me the fake purchase items.**I need to find the address of the original seller of these items and then show the bank proof that I returned them and then contend on the refund for these items. Neither Amazon nor my bank Chase will do anything to help me. I have the order numbers of two of the * items wrongly credited to my account. Please find some way to find my way out of this. It’s not just the money, it’s my Amazon record and Bank record and my reputation. I have been a member of both institutions for over ** years and neither has given me even the smallest benefit of doubt. **Explain to me a fair system, when some crook can mail you two cheap things using your stolen card and then gifts himself an expensive gift card and you have to bankroll the whole thing because some of the items were shipped to your address.
