You can also dispute a charge through the app. Once logged in, look up your ride under Your Trips, select the ride that you wish to dispute, then click "I would like a refund" and then select the reason for the refund request.
The issue in GetHuman-celiassh's own words
I wanted to cancel the membership after receiving charges for what I was under the impression was free ... Believed Amazon prime would be free for college students. I signed up, noticed after awhile that I was being charged. April *th ****, I ended the subscription on their app and got a confirmation the membership would stop July *th. I had still been charged since then, and I ended the subscription again on May **, ****. I still got charged. July *th passes and I'm receiving charges to my card.
It would constantly take money from my card and my savings in order to pay for the membership that I had already cancelled.
This could be fixed by cancelling the charges for the non existant membership and refunding for the times it was originally cancelled and still recieved charges
I wasnt expecting to be charged considering it was a college prime account
I waited to make sure the cancellation date hit and after I still recieved charges I ended up calling.
How GetHuman-celiassh fixed the problem
After submitting the issue here, I used the number provided for amazon to call their customer service. I went through a bit of the automated voice messaging system untill I was able to request 'more help'. A nice worker asked me why I was calling and I explained what the issue was as I stated here (Provided and email, along with dates I cancelled and such). They cancelled it for me and refunded me for the times I shouldnt have been charged. They also provided me with information on how much I would be receiving in the refund, and about how long it will take to refund it.
