HI - Let me give you some background - My wife and I are retired and on a fixed income. My wife is a wonderful person and is always trying to help others, but asks for nothing in return. So trying to find a Christmas gift that she would love is difficult.**We both play in a community band comprised mostly of older people. The instrument she played, a mellophone was offered initially by one of the band members, but this fall, that member left the group and took the instrument being played by my wife with her. My wife has had three unrelated cancers, two surgeries, * months of two harsh chemo drugs, is starting to feel like her old self.... and now, just as she was able to perform with the group again, no instrument.**my thought for Christmas was to find her a new mellophone. I did my homework and realized that various brands are better than others, some have flaws such as poor tuning, etc. **Two weeks ago on Amazon I found a Blessing BM-*** Marching Mellophone, Lacquered Brass in the ***.** range. That was a real stretch but if I took it from our savings, I could have done it. I was thrilled the next day to see that the price had dropped to $***.** with only two remaining, but "more were on the way". **The next morning, I went to the bank and transferred the money so I could make the purchase online, but when I got home and logged on, the Blessing BM-*** Marching Mellophone, Lacquered Brass was now listed at $*,***.** on your site. I was and continue to be devastated.**My question is this - AM I foolish for thinking that the prices on your site are for real? IS this one of those bait and switch sites, and if not, will the price be coming back down any time soon?**I have been heartbroken now for a week. I was thrilled that I could make her Christmas something special and as the days tick by, I am just totally depressed. I hope some reads this and does respond to me. I pry that price comes back down before the holidays. thanks for reading this.**William Pearce - **** Route *** Hwy, Cherry Tree, PA *****
