I paid for Amazon Prime before it was got too big for its own good. I became a member in **** and can't believe how horrible the service has degraded over the years. I remember when they used to count the weekend as one of their business days and I would get my packages on the weekend if I ordered something on Friday. I remember when I would get my packages in two days like I was supposed to. This is no longer the case. I have either not received things at all or it has taken almost to get a package. I am really not sure why I am even paying for Prime any longer when I have seen a steady decline in customer service over the years and total lack to please the customer. I just ordered something this week that I just checked on it and it said package has been damaged so the refunded me and said that I would have to place the order again. Why is it my job to reorder when the company you chose to ship my package damaged it beyond being acceptable. There is absolutely no reason why Amazon can not duplicate my order and ship my package one day shipping. Amazon is dropping the ball left in right. They no longer honor the two day shipping I pay for yearly. Shipping has seen a steady decline in service ever since you started handing the mail off to the USPS. The USPS never was nor ever will be capable of fulfilling the amount of product Amazon moves. If there is one thing that Amazon can do to get back on track at providing quality customer service that its customers expect it is to STOP using the USPS and return to UPS and FedEx all the way to my door step. Amazon is just doing what any other American company has done over the past century. They have had their hay day but that hay day is coming to an end. You can't keep the same level of customer service over the company's lifespan. I have alternatives to Amazon that I am pretty close to just dropping my Prime membership and doing. There are plenty of other smart home devices that i can get where I do not need my echos any longer. It is a sad day when a company gets to this point. I was one that said Amazon will be around for some time. Now I am not so thoroughly convinced of that, instead I am thoroughly convinced that Amazon's days are numbered if they continue to provide the level of customer service I have received from them over the past year.*Well I have no rambled long enough not that it matters because I am sure this message will fall on the same deaf ears the don't get a lick about the level of customer care they provide.
