I placed an order on ******** for headphones (order ****-*******-*******) because the price was excellent and had a promised delivery by ********. I received a message from Amazon on ******** saying that my order was delayed and delivery would be made on ******** or ********. I wasn’t too upset by the delay since I figured that my package would still be delivered by ******** for me to take on a family Christmas visit when I leave early Monday ********. I’ve been checking both the Amazon and UPS tracking info pages since the **th and the package has gone from “In transit” to “out for delivery” * different times since then.*I contacted Amazon support on the evening of ******** and about noon on ********. The chat on ******** wasn’t very helpful and when no tracking info was available on either the Amazon or UPS tracking pages by noon of ******** I contacted Amazon support again. This time the agent set up a replacement order which won’t help me much since the replacement won’t arrive until ********.*I have * questions….. **) Why did things go so wrong with UPS on the original order to delay delivery by over a week?…and **) I need a valid reason why this shouldn’t be my final Amazon purchase and lead me to not renew my Amazon Prime membership?*At this point in time I’m rather angry since this isn’t the type of service I’ve come to expect from Amazon.
