I found a charge of $***.** on my bank account today (********) with ref of direct marketing and continuity*subscription. I assume this is an annual membership renewal for amazon prime* however, there was no courtesy pre-contact (email) advising an increase membership fee or a breakdown of the additional costs (supposedly related to taxes according to a phone rep) Also I have always been billed in Jan NOT November This is very POOR customer service!!
*) refund the difference between **** annual membership and what I have been charged today. *) Amazon needs to do a better job of informing loyal customers (prime members) of any increase in membership fees and exactly when the annual fee will be assessed (i.e., every year the membership renewal has been charged in Jan - NOT November)
