I recently purchased and amazon fire cube along with Alexa remote and starter lightbulb kit. Originally purchased on November **, **** around *:**pm. The order was accidentally cancelled on the morning of November **, ****. I went to purchase the item as soon as it was removed and was charged twice the price. We spoke with many representatives who were not of any help. One of them specifically “Jason M.” Claimed to be the boss of amazon and told us there was no one else we could speak to above him. No one resolved the issue. I understand that it was cancelled on accident less than ** hours after originally purchasing it. I then immediately tried to reinstate that order with a price that was not what I had originally made. Customer service was very poor. The fact that Amazon is one of the worlds largets companys in the world and was unable to solve this matter is very unprofessional and very disturbing. I was not trying to get rid of the order, hence the reason why I immediately repurchased it when I realized that it had been cancelled by accident. Do accidents never happen in these situations? I find that very hard to believe. The way that the matter was handled and is still being handled is ridiculous. All I wanted to do was to reconfirm my order for the fire cube and light bulbs for the original price that I paid less than ** hours ago. This is a very busy time of year and money can be tight in certain situations. I can’t stress it enough how poorly this has been handled so far. Especially on the customer service end of this. We have been very patient and polite, however we cannot say we received the same treatment in return. To tell a paying customer that you are “Mr. Amazon” and that we have no one else we can speak to about this matter is very disturbing. It is a very small issue that in any other business environment could be solved very efficiently and respectfully. One would think that a company as large as Amazon would be able to do the same.
