I tried to place an order but at checkout I was told my account was blocked. I was told an email would be sent to explain what has happened and how to get the problem resolved. No email ever came through. Called back and was told that a specialist would be needed to resolve the problem and that specialist would contact me by email. Still no email. I was able to find out that there is a charge in dispute. Someone (not me) ordered a computer using my credit card and apparently my Amazon account and had it shipped to my daughter's house. Fortunately whoever did this wasn't able to get their hands on the computer and it is still sitting in my daughter's house unopened. I contacted my bank that issued the credit card, disputed the charge, and they investigated and reversed he charge off my credit card. Now Amazon is without the $**** and without the computer. This, I presume, is the reason my account has been frozen. We will gladly ship the computer back, we just need a shipping label. But since Amazon can't get its emails through to my email address associated with my account (*****@***.com), you could email it to my business email (*****@***.com) or you can call me. My in-home office * is ***-***-**** and my mobile phone is ***-***-*****We are Prime members.
