I was returning an item for a friend at one of the drop off locations, which is located at *** Calhoun St. Cincinnati, OH ***** and I was running late on time and literally walked in the door at * minute before * pm and store closes at * pm. How I knew the time is because there is a phone number you can call that gives you the exact time. The door was still unlocked where I was able to enter into the store and I was told by the employee that I was unable to return the item because they already closed out their cash registers. Now I perfectly understand that I was pushing it by getting there * minute prior to closing time and that everybody’s clock, watch, etc. time is different, but the cash register should not be closed out until the doors are locked and everything customer is out of the store. I know how it is when it comes to the end of your shift and you want to get out of there as soon as possible, but it’s an unacceptable excuse closing out the cash register before the actual end time. I think this is poor business and if the owner would find out about it, they would not be too happy. This is a great way to lose business and unfortunately * bad experience does so much more harm to a reputation of a business than * good experience. I honestly do not need a reply back, I just wanted to make someone aware of what happened and my experience. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give some feedback.
