Will anyone at Amazon listen to me? Five or six weeks ago, a friend in the US bought me a present, a book. When I tried to open a Kindle account in order to access the book, Amazon said I already had an account. I do not, It asked for a password. I did not have one, so I tried re-setting the password. Re-setting sent me a link. That link requested a post-code. I live in Argentina. My real post code is not recognized by Amazon, so I tried my friend*s post-code in the US. That didn*t work either. I complained - nicely. I was sent two telephone numbers. The *-*** number did not work from here. The *-*** number had a recording, in English, US accent, saying it did not exist. I complained. I got exactly the same procedure sent back, three times. Three times more I have been round in the same circles. Three times more I have complained. Last time I wrote in large capital letters asking that someone provide a solution and stop sending automated messages whose content they appear not to understand. Since then, I have been ignored. But Amazon has been paid for the book and I do not have it. Amazon, if you are listening, please call me or send me an email.
