I want to give a bit of background so you understand my point of view. **I spent nearly ** years in the US Government as an IT Security Specialist. I retired some years ago. My job required a polygraph-backed security clearance, and I worked for three *-letter agencies, including the Pentagon. I am former military, and my bona fides (integrity) are a matter of public record, which could be checked by your investigators if they chose to do so. In **** Texas State University funded a scholarship in my name. (I have taken over the funding of the scholarship). ** I am bothered by something Amazon is (continuing) to do. In February, I was informed my reviews were "biased and incentivized", and I was "banned" from review. I respect your decision, but I disagree with it. **Yet, you continue to ask me to review products. **When I try to do that (I've never used these products before) I'm again being told "biased and incentivized" on any given product. (example: Yi cameras). I've never owned them before, never given a review, but I'm shown to be "biased" before I even review it. (I can't be trusted to tell the truth) Really?? Where is this kind of thinking (algorithim) coming from ?? ** I pretty much understand the algorithims you are using. I know there is a LOT of fraud you are dealing with and I applaud the fact that you are dealing with it aggressively (I investigated this myself--it's ugly beyond words). I can live without reviewing your products. **Cops know (I am not, nor have ever been a cop, but I was in Signals Intelligence) that leopards don't change their spots. **If I am dishonest now, I was dishonest before now. Yet, I am honorably discharged from the military (nominated for top ** airmen of the AF), was a top performer as civilian, and left with a high clearance. **But on Amazon...I can't be trusted to give an honest review? **Your reasoning for me not reviewing products is ludicrous. * A lawyer would roll his eyes if all the evidence was presented. * * *It's not the review* it's the contradictions involved in the rules about review. **Frankly, (I've seen this kind of thing before at least twice in the US goverment) I have to wonder, "who got to you?"**(given the timing, I am about **% sure I know "who", and I know "why"). **You've made your decision. * I disagree with Amazon on this, but I respect it. Please respect me enough to stop asking me to review products I purchase, then telling me I can't because you've decided I'm "incentivized and biased".
