You have ticked off "fixed", whereas I wrote that I still have a problem. I have now written an email to Kindle as a last resort. When you tried to help me, you wrote that you had sent me a four digit code, which I never received. So I had to give up!

I was trying to pay for a book, but was told repeatedly that my credit card was not valid. Not true, as Amazon had already registered it as valid! ... I want to order a book on my Kindle, but the credit card registered had run out. Therefore I registered a new card and also changed my password. I was informed that my card and new password were now registered. However, when I returned to my Kindle to order I was again told that my credit card was invalid. I have spent two hours trying to sort this problem out. How is it that you can help? I was hoping to take my Kindle with me tomorrow on a cruise. Best regards, Edwina Reiler, from Norway
As it is virtually impossible to get in touch with anyone on Amazon*Kindle - I mean a real live human being, all the alternatives given on their socalled "Customer Service" did not apply. So no help there.
Just let me pay for the book with one of the two valid credit cards supplied!
Have ordered several books, but not recently. Had intended on taking up Kindle again.....
