On Tuesday**th December ****, the above order was delivered. The delivery man ( I will say man and not person as it was a man) knocked, did not give time for my daughter to answer the door and opened the front of my house and put the parcel in the hall. **At the time, my young daughter and our two dogs were alone in the house.**I immediately telephoned Amazon when I heard what had occurred, after several apologies the service representative (male) informed me Amazon would contact the delivery service, Hermes in this case and have them contact me with a reason for such totally unacceptable behaviour. **I never did receive that call!**I subsequently telephoned Amazon on the *rd January **** to follow this up and find out why I had not been called considering the time passed. The girl I could barely understand and she most certainly did not understand me, as I firmly asked that Hermes contact me forthwith and they have not.**I realise the delivery companies are not part of Amazon but they act for Amazon and when told I would be telephoned then I should be.**I would like that telephone call from Hermes, as promised.**In-addition, the "good-will" gesture of a discount on my next order to be honoured without the conditions attached, that I was only informed of when I spoke to Amazon on the *rd January ****.**Yours faithfully,**John McMahon
