I purchased * phones from Amazon, the first of which was defective with the microphone that kept going down and it would stay down up to two weeks and then work again for a few days and then go down again. The replacement they sent was a used phone where they hadnt factory reset it completely and it was still registered to a man in Brazil! The third and fourth phone was perfect except that they wouldn't allow me to accept incoming phone calls so we don't know if that was an issue with T-MOBILE, and my last phone was a Samsung a** that I received yesterday. It was advertised as a *G LYT but when the SIM card was put in it said two to three GT's and didn't even SAY LYT, so that was one thing and I had contacted the seller before purchase and everything he told me about the phone was untrue and I was unable to transfer my data after ** hours of trying. I decided not to try anymore and to purchase a phone from T-Mobile and they are holding it for me pending my refund. Customer service refuses to put the money back in my checking account because she said the last method of payment was a gift card. The gift card was at the suggestion of several customer service agents throughout this entire process who when I made a return suggested a gift card would be a quicker way to get my refund so I could purchase another phone and that's what I did and now they want to put $*** on a gift card which isn't going to help me at all because I have the gift card but I won't have a phone. I have placed over *** orders with you and I've been a huge Amazon fan from the beginning but telling me there is no way for me to get my money back, and that's a lot of money to me, is ridiculous because there have got to be exceptions to certain situations. I didn't ask to get a defective phone or be conned by Sellers and told one thing after another that was not true, I believed that if ever there was a problem Amazon would back me up as a faithful customer and now that is not the case. I'm sure you don't want to know the details but I live alone and my situation is such that it is also not safe for me to not have a way to communicate so not getting that refund and saving up that kind of money to buy a phone from T-Mobile is going to take months so I will be without a phone for at least a month which could be life-threatening in more ways than one. Had I realized this was going to happen I would never have agreed to do the gift card but it made sense at the time and I know the agent was only trying to help me but now it's keeping me from getting what I think I deserve which is the amount put back in my account which is where it originally started. I have the order numbers if you need them. TMobile will only hold the sound that I plan to buy that I can actually afford until Saturday so I am praying that we can come to a solution where I can purchase that phone in time. I've actually been more than nice and patient throughout this whole process until today and I did raise my voice when I was talking to a customer service supervisor but I guess his just telling me there was no way on God's green earth that the policy could be changed to give me my refund in my account kind of pushed me over the edge and I apologize for that.**Thank you for listening and I look forward to hearing from you hopefully soon!**Laurie Sumner ****-***-****

I just explained exactly what happened, how I ordered phones in good faith but was sent defective phones, used phones, and information given me that turned out not to be true. Many agents were adament my refund couldn't be changed and I knew that wasn't true and I didn't give up until I found one who did. It was only fair after all I'd been through and my faith in Amazon has been restored. Most issues CAN be resolved if you stay calm and don't stop trying
