Two days ago I received ** emails saying that my password was attempting to be changed. * I didn't even open any of the emails, I immediately went to Amazon and changed my password. Somehow someone logged in and changed everything on my account do I couldn't log in. Because my Roku and phone were logged in when it happened Ididn't know everything was changed. I found it out when I went to place a order and couldn't log in.**My first step was to call customer support, here is where everything started to go downhill. The first person I talked to said that because he couldn't find my information I wasn't a phone customer. After being on the phone with this guy for ** minutes he was telling me I wasn't an Amazon customer I couldn't take it anymore and asked for a supervisor.**I get a supervisor on the phone and by still being logged in with my phone I was able to see part of the email address that is now on my account. I thought great now we can fix the problem. It couldn't be farther from the truth. The supervisor then tells me that their isn't anything she can do. She had to send the information to another department and I will hear back in ** to ** hours. I explained that this was unacceptable , why would Amazon allow this person to have access to my account for another ** hours when they know that the account is mine. She just continued saying it's your policy I hire you handle problems like this.**At this point I'm very upset knowing that this person for the next ** will continue to have access to my past orders, free movies and the most where I live. I asked her to remove my credit cards.**I can't believe that you can't immediately block this person from my account. I'm still worried that he had my address.**Why can't you Nick accounts immediately ?**I DEMAND to know how this happened.**I'm worried that someone could change my information to the point your support says I'm not your customer.**This is a terrible security breach that needs to be stopped.**If he decided to make purchases with stolen credit cards he still could do it for another ** hours.**This is a clear example of TERRIBLE customer service and I can promise you that myself, my wife and children will No renew our memberships.**Howard
