The issue in GetHuman-bakers_h's own words
March **** I ordered a ring through amazon*Diamond mine. I received the ring and when I did it was no longer needed. I went to the return section and put in a request, however at the time they informed me that their return dept was closed (Mar **,****) due to covid. I sent a reply back asking if my return will still be honoured when ever the return dept resumed, they (Diamond Mine) assured me that it would be. May **, **** Diamond Mind informed me that they were open for returns. I printed off the return label as directed and was mailed ***** through CP Tracked Pkt-USA. After weeks I entered tracking * to see if it had been received the info said that it had been received*delivered on June *, ****. I contacted DM and asked why I hadn't received my refund? They asked for me to provide a Tracking * which I did. I waited for a couple more weeks now July * and still nothing so I contacted them again asking about refund they didn't reply. * I then proceeded to go through Amazon Chat (July **,****) and explain the situation. The agent after chatting for a bit and taking info about the issue opened a AtoZ claim. On July ** I got a email stating that the claim had been denied because it was not eligible under AtoZ Guarantee. I immediately put in for a appeal and the next day was told that the decision stands. I was also told of a few things I should have done when sending the item back however, it did not state any of those things in the return email with seller or amazon. This seemed to me like I was being blamed for not doing these things that were listed, which is not right. The findings apparently were that the seller states they never received the item even though my tracking says it was delivered there June *, *:**pm. I am here now cause I would like to know what else I can do? I do not have the item cause I sent it back and also don't have my refund $*,***.**. One of the suggestions when sending it back was to get a signature, however, when I received the item it was through Fedex and they were also suppose to get a signature but they DID NOT instead they left it on my front step when no one was home. If I was a dishonest person I could have said that I never received it but I am not that kinda of person. How is it my fault that their receiving department has miss placed the package. I DID send it and was trusting in the return policy. I am quite surprised that Amazon is not on the consumers side with this issue. Again I state I no longer have the item and am being told I'm out $*,***.** because they said they never received it. Why should I get the dirty end of the stick in this situation? Why isn't Amazon on my side? * So if I got denied a AtoZ claim and denied a AtoZ claim appeal can you tell me what my next step might be as I would like my refund.
