I tried contacting your [redacted] number continuously over the past two days but got either busy signals or lengthy hold times before being disconnected. I found an alternative number online that directed me to FlyDesk. Our flight from Minot to Las Vegas on 4/12 with confirmation number BSHVC4 was canceled due to weather conditions. FlyDesk stated we would receive a full refund of around $[redacted] for that flight. Our return flight with confirmation number BSHVNK was also impacted since we missed the initial flight. FlyDesk charged us $50 per person for a $[redacted] voucher each. I have some inquiries: 1. Is this standard procedure? 2. This situation was beyond our control. We are regular fliers with your airline and as we approach retirement, we plan to travel more. We kindly request a refund of the $50 fee as a gesture of goodwill. Yesterday around 6pm, we received news from our son-in-law that our daughter was unwell, possibly with the stomach flu, prompting us to consider canceling our flight (April 15, [redacted], 10:43 from SNA to Spokane, confirmation # BN9662 under Susan Freer Gonzales). After reviewing Allegiant Airlines' policy and learning about their no-refund or credit policy, we asked for time to decide. Our daughter later informed us that she and her husband were ill, along with three of their children. Wanting to explain our unforeseen circumstances to customer service, I attempted to contact them at 7pm. Despite encountering busy signals and a long wait time, I persisted, spending 4 hours trying to reach a representative without success. Although my wife attempted to cancel through Managed Care, we ultimately had to accept that we couldn't connect with customer service and missed our flight. I recently experienced a difficult situation as my family and I planned a trip after my father's passing, but due to family issues, the trip is now canceled. I am seeking assistance in refunding or converting our three tickets scheduled for June 9th to Florida and returning on June 12th to vouchers. It is not viable for me to travel with them anymore. I have a trip booked from TYS to PIE round trip, departing Knoxville on Thursday, June 2 and returning on Sunday, June 5. I would like to change my departure flight from Knoxville TN to St. Pete FL to Wednesday, June 1. I received an email about changes in flight times that shorten our time in Florida, so I want to arrive a day earlier. I tried using the manage my flight option, but I was unable to make the change. I have accepted the change for the return flight on Sunday, June 5 from PIE to TYS, but I have not accepted the change for the departure on Thursday, June 2 as I want to switch it to Wednesday, June 1. Can you please assist me with this? Thank you.

Upon arriving at the airport two hours before our scheduled boarding time, we found out our original plane had left, and we were put on a different one. Unfortunately, the new plane had electrical issues that caused a delay. The lack of air conditioning made the wait uncomfortable. Our pilot decided to switch planes for safety reasons, resulting in an additional two-hour delay before departure. Originally scheduled to leave at 2:18, we didn't depart until 6 pm, leading to a late arrival and inconvenience in getting home, reaching our destination close to midnight. Despite paying for priority boarding, it did not expedite our boarding process. We feel that for the significant delays and stresses, we endured, a complimentary flight or a full refund would be fair compensation. The pilot and crew were supportive, but the overall experience was disappointing, especially for a first-time flyer with this airline.

I am currently dealing with a name discrepancy on my driver's license, which I am in the process of correcting with Mr. A.T., Esq. Despite obtaining my driver's license, it does not reflect the name I use as my legal name, causing issues with my booked ticket under Leanne Miller. Mr. A.T. is currently working on filing a motion for a name change. How can I update the name on my airline ticket to match my revised driver's license? Dear Customer Service, I am writing to address an issue with my recent flight booking. Yesterday, while attempting to check in online for flight [redacted] from Louisville to Destin with confirmation code BTLQLX, I encountered difficulties with adding a carry-on bag. Despite having already paid for 2 checked bags at the time of booking, I accidentally removed them and was issued a $60.00 voucher. Subsequently, when trying to add the checked bags back in, it only reflected for the return trip, not the outgoing flight. I have been unsuccessful in resolving this through the website's "Manage My Trip" feature as there is no live chat support available and extended waiting times on the phone helpline. We mistakenly purchased an extra ticket under the father's name. Now the father has two tickets for the same flight. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service via phone, live chat, and email, we have received no response. As a working mother with an infant at home, she is unable to continue spending time on hold or waiting for responses. We are seeking a refund or a voucher for a future flight. Unfortunately, we received text messages at 4:22 a.m. stating the flight was cancelled with no further details provided. This forced us to buy new tickets from a different airline to return home. We are now trying to claim reimbursement from our travel insurance, but the insurer requires a letter from Allegiant explaining the cancellation. Despite multiple attempts, we have not received this letter. The unexpected $[redacted] expense was difficult for us. My bags are missing after my flight from (LAS) to (TUL) on Friday, May 20, [redacted]. My confirmation number is BWG4XR. Despite being assured by a gate attendant that my bag was being held for me, Allegiant and the airport lost and found claim they do not have it. After speaking with Allegiant customer support and an Allegiant Representative in Tulsa, the situation remains unresolved. I am frustrated by the lack of information and poor customer service. I was scheduled to fly on May 27th on flight [redacted] to Punta Gorda (PGD) with my companion, Linda Foster. Unfortunately, during boarding, we were informed that the flight was cancelled due to an incident involving one of the engines. After waiting for over 3 hours, we were unable to secure a new flight until Monday. Faced with no immediate options, we had to book a last-minute flight with Southwest on May 28th, which incurred additional costs for both of us and my dog. The unexpected hotel expenses, taxi fares, meals, and the overall stress added to our ordeal. The compensation provided by Allegiant in the form of a voucher and a promised payment was not satisfactory, as I encountered issues transferring the funds and had no success reaching customer service. Due to the circumstances, my nephew couldn't pick me up from the MLI airport as he needed to be by my sister's side. Our flight was canceled nearly 45 minutes after boarding was scheduled to begin, leaving no alternative flight for 3 days. We are new parents traveling with 3 adults and 2 babies under 1 year old. Due to the cancellation, we had to rent a car, and the only available option was a Toyota Tacoma, too small for our group, for a 12-hour drive home. We had not budgeted for this unexpected expense, had to stay in a subpar hotel unsuitable for our babies, and incur additional gas costs we were trying to avoid by flying. After spending over $[redacted] on top of the $[redacted] we paid for the bundle tickets, receiving only a $[redacted] refund is unacceptable. We urgently need to discuss this matter with a representative.

Allegiant has canceled my flight (Julie Hager: FVW9BF) and my companion's flight (Carmen Selby: BVYXGR). We were rescheduled to an earlier flight on July 7, [redacted], which we cannot make due to a conflicting schedule. Despite emailing Allegiant and being assured of a response, we have yet to receive one besides acknowledgment of our inquiry. Concerned about availability, we booked a new flight for July 14, [redacted] (flight #[redacted]) for Julie Hager and Carmen Selby (BXHNXR). Kindly cancel our original flights and cover the costs for the new booking.

Months ago, my grandson and I had meticulously planned to be present at my granddaughter's graduation week along with our family. Our intended departure was on June 6th at 11:19 am on flight [redacted] with the confirmation number BTW6QX. Unfortunately, Allegiant Airlines unexpectedly canceled the flight, leaving us stranded without alternatives from Sioux Falls. Dishearteningly, I missed out on three days of graduation celebrations and vacation time, forcing me to journey three hours to Omaha for an additional cost of $[redacted]. Due to this inconvenience, I kindly request two round-trip tickets to any Allegiant destination. Missing the graduation dinner, school picnic, and trip to Knott's Berry Farm shattered my heart, especially because I had made a promise to my granddaughter. We are traveling on June 18 from MEM to LAX. We have noticed that flights out of MEM have been canceled this week. We are worried that our flight might be affected as well. If it gets canceled, how will it impact our return flight? Can we still keep our return flight and what will happen to our refund? Is it possible to reschedule the canceled flight without extra charges? With a group of seven, rearranging rental cars, hotels, and reservations will be quite a challenge, so we require information promptly. Thank you.

I attempted to cancel a flight 24 hours before my scheduled departure but had issues reaching customer service after being on hold for three hours. I ended up purchasing a new flight. Allegiant Airlines called me the next day to verify my flight status, and I explained my situation to a representative named Alex. He assured me I would receive credit for each person on my booking and a refund for my checked baggage, but nothing has been refunded as promised. Despite multiple attempts to contact Allegiant customer service, including speaking to Alex, I have not been able to resolve this issue. It's frustrating not being able to reach anyone to make changes or get the promised refunds. I hope to receive the credits and baggage refund I was assured of.

During a trip to Austin, TX for my son's wedding on June 3, [redacted], my family and I departed from Pittsburgh airport, but my 28" red American Tourist suitcase failed to arrive with us. The suitcase, bearing a name tag labeled with my last name Warner and cellphone number, was identified as heavy upon check-in. Despite making several calls and leaving messages, we received no response regarding the missing luggage. This lack of customer service has left us feeling extremely frustrated. The situation worsened as we were charged $50 due to the overweight baggage, a fee we hope to have refunded. Two weeks have elapsed without any progress, causing distress thinking about the unclaimed bag's whereabouts. If the luggage remains undiscovered, we suspect theft and request reimbursement for the replaced items. Ideally, we simply wish to retrieve the missing suitcase.
