Allegiant Airlines misplaced my luggage during my flight from Nashville to Cleveland (itinerary number 929XBS). Despite not being able to file a claim in person at the airport last night, I submitted an online claim. I am still waiting to hear back. Oddly, a fellow passenger texted me in the middle of the night after finding my bag at baggage claim in Nashville, indicating a mix-up may have occurred. Surprisingly, my bag was at the Nashville baggage claim instead of Cleveland, having arrived on a flight from Seattle. This morning, I contacted Allegiant and was informed that the Nashville office was closed, prompting me to call back later. I seek information on the current location of my bag, its return date, and how it strayed from the usual security procedures.

In November, I had booked a flight to Huntington, WV but had to cancel it. Despite not being eligible for a refund, I was informed by customer service that I could reschedule the flight for a later date. The representative advised me to contact customer service when ready to use the tickets. I am currently trying to rebook the tickets and have been waiting on hold for almost two hours.

I purchased plane tickets through an agent for next Saturday to next Wednesday. Unfortunately, one of the guests I invited cannot attend due to a family friend's passing. I am wondering if it's possible to change the name on the ticket to allow someone else to take her place. Thank you.

I have always traveled with Allegiant Airlines with my Emotional Support dog, Hilton. Your airline awarded me a free flight once because Hilton and I entertained children during a long delayed flight. Will I encounter any issues bringing him with me from Orlando to Tulsa this Thanksgiving ([redacted]) if I present his documentation? I never travel without him, so your help is greatly appreciated. You can also check my previous flights for reference. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -Marilyn P.

This is Richard F, Raymond. My wife and I booked our first flight with Allegiant from Phoenix to Provo for July 15, returning on July 23. I noticed I was charged twice, $[redacted] and $[redacted], on July 5, for reservation numbers 87XHFC and 97WNSK. One of these bookings needs to be canceled, and I believe it should be the second one mentioned. I have contacted Allegiant four times, waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes each time, and sent two emails without a response. Frustrated with the service, I even visited the airport but was informed they could only assist with boarding and luggage.

On June 29th, my husband and I flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Syracuse on Flight [redacted]. Confirmation Number 97BZZJ. My husband had a stroke on May 6, so we had to delay our original flight. He was taken to the door of the plane in a wheelchair but boarded the plane using his cane. We were given seats on different aisles. He was asked to change his seat several times, which he did. The flight attendant came up to him in his last seat and told him the airline was going to refund him the price of his ticket. We have no proof of this, but I heard her telling him as I was just a couple of rows in front of him on the opposite side. I can be reached by phone at [redacted]. We used our Capital One card to book the flight. We can also be reached by email at [redacted] Thank you for looking into this for us. I have his boarding pass and itinerary but can't find an address to send it to. Please assist us. Thank you, R. W. (J. W.).

I have been on hold for over 6 hours trying to speak with someone from Alpine today. Additionally, my reservation cancellation made within 24 hours was not acknowledged because they were not answering their phone. They offered me a $5 voucher for a $[redacted]+ round trip flight. I have been disconnected 3 times today. If Allegiant does not resolve this issue, I will give them extremely negative and public reviews. I will use my platform as a journalist to ensure others do not face the same struggles. I am determined to reach a resolution tonight and will escalate this matter if necessary.

On Thursday, my son and I were at the airport heading to Florida after passing through security. Unfortunately, my son, who had dental surgery two days before, had a severe reaction to his medication, resulting in a panic attack. This caused us to miss our flight, and we had to quickly exit the airport due to his escalating panic attack. Is there any possibility of receiving a refund or a voucher for our future travels?

Please change our flight itinerary from Huntington, WV (HTS) to Myrtle Beach, SC to October. We usually travel with Allegiant every six months, in April and October. Due to various hurricanes affecting our previous trips and my wife's recent surgery, we need to reschedule our upcoming flight to Destin, FL to October. We have decided to drive to New Orleans instead in light of health advisories and hurricane warnings. We would like to revisit Myrtle Beach where we got married years ago to celebrate our anniversary. Given the complications we are facing, we kindly request to change our flight to Myrtle Beach in October [redacted]. Thank you.

Regarding flight #[redacted] from PIA to PIE on 7/16/19, with confirmation # 96CHMX, I am requesting a refund for both passengers totaling $[redacted]. The flight experienced delays due to improper fueling, leading to a diversion to Destin, Florida, and arriving in Tampa 2.5 hours late at 9:25 pm instead of 7:25 pm. The behavior of the flight attendants and the pilot was unprofessional, with attendants yelling at guests over the intercom and the pilot making discourteous remarks. As a frequent flyer for work, this experience was disappointing, as I have never encountered such poor treatment by flight crew and a lack of effort to address issues faced by passengers.

I purchased a ticket for my grandson departing from Norfolk, VA on flight [redacted] at 6:16 am. Unfortunately, when he arrived to check in his bag, there was no one available downstairs. Despite TSA not allowing his mother to accompany him, he proceeded to the gate only to find the door closed with no entry permitted. He is a special needs individual who previously flew alone on Southwest without any issues four years ago. I am now seeking another flight, and it seems that Friday might be the earliest available option.

I have a question regarding booking a flight. I am considering booking a flight on December 15th, the late flight #[redacted] departing at 8:04 pm from Daytona/Sanford, FL. If I book this flight and later decide to switch to the earlier flight #[redacted] on the same day, is it possible to do so? What would be the associated cost, if any? Additionally, can you provide information on the cost of TripFlex per person? I am booking for three people. I will be traveling with my daughter and her 3-year-old daughter. If we opt not to purchase seat assignments, will Allegiant's system automatically assign seats together for my daughter and her 3-year-old at check-in since they share the same last name and the child is only 3 years old? We usually don't pre-purchase seats, but have always been seated together in the past. Just looking for clarification on this.

I am deeply saddened to share that my beloved 94-year-old aunt passed away on July 15th after a fall. My husband had booked me a flight to Pittsburgh for her viewing and funeral, with Confirmation # 99G6LW. Tragically, on the same day while cooking dinner, I fell ill with severe abdominal pain and had to be admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where doctors discovered a cancerous tumor. The circumstances forced me to miss my aunt's funeral, and now I am preparing to travel to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for oncology treatment. I kindly request a refund for my flight expenses as I require the funds for upcoming medical procedures. Your understanding and assistance are greatly appreciated. Thank you. Barbara M. I traveled to Michigan to visit a sick relative and unfortunately, she passed away suddenly. I had booked a flight back to Florida for Monday, but with the funeral being on the same day, I can't afford the re-scheduling charges. My parents and I flew from Punta Gorda, FL last Friday, and they were planning to stay until my aunt was discharged. I am kindly asking for an exception to be made in this situation, to waive the re-booking fee and apply what has already been paid to a new flight.

Our trip began wonderfully. The Monterey to Vegas staff was excellent. Unfortunately, the service on our return trip this morning was beyond anything I have encountered. A lady accused my husband of not being military. She not only accused him but also loudly demanded the other lady helping us with our boarding pass to check his ID because he claims to be "military" - yes, she even air quoted it in front of many people. It was humiliating to be questioned three times about his military status. My husband has been active military for nearly 16 years. Even the lady assisting us apologized for her behavior and mentioned that others had faced similar issues with her. Her name was Marie Tess. Adding to the frustration, she refused to accept my husband's traveling ID, and we were forced to pay $50 for our luggage because of this. This experience was very disappointing, and I would like to discuss this matter with someone to express our dissatisfaction.

We had a pleasant trip until yesterday when we encountered an upsetting situation with one of your customer representatives. My husband, who is in the military, faced disbelief from the representative who repeatedly questioned his military status in various ways. When we tried to get our boarding passes, the representative loudly instructed another employee to check my husband's ID, even using air quotes when mentioning his military affiliation. Subsequently, she prevented the other employee from accepting my husband's ID. I would like to address this incident as it caused us additional expenses for overweight luggage. The encounter was embarrassing, demeaning, and incredibly frustrating, given the circumstances.

I am reaching out to all airlines regarding the issue of infants and children on planes. As a frequent flyer, I have witnessed many instances of children crying or having tantrums on flights. There have been incidents where passengers were removed due to various reasons, yet parents of disruptive children often go unnoticed. It is challenging for passengers when children misbehave in such a confined space. Implementing rules for parents to maintain silence from their children during flights would greatly improve the travel experience for all. I have a few questions for airlines: 1) Do airlines have a limit on the number of children allowed on a flight? 2) Could parents with children be seated towards the back to minimize disruptions for other passengers trying to rest? 3) Is there a possibility of future airplane designs with soundproofed areas in the back for families traveling with children? 4) Are there plans for upgrades to allow passengers to view the profile of seat neighbors, especially if they are children, during online check-in? By addressing these concerns, the overall flying experience could be more enjoyable for everyone involved.

I had a confirmed trip with Allegiant, with the number 994SLV. Yesterday, I encountered a significant issue while departing from Destin/Fort Walton. Despite arriving at the airport with my daughter 1.5 hours early after online check-in, the TSA procedures were excessively slow, resulting in us reaching the gate at 5:49 AM, four minutes after the supposed closing time of 5:45 AM. Surprisingly, there were no boarding announcements or last call notifications made, leaving not just us but six other passengers in the same unfortunate situation. Subsequently, we had to rebook on American Airlines, ending up in Charlotte instead of Concord and taking an Uber to our final destination. This unexpected turn of events cost me an additional $[redacted].60 for airfare and $28.27 for the Uber ride. Given the circumstances of having to return home for my daughter's first day of school, my responsibilities towards my elderly father, and the financial strain this situation caused, I urge Allegiant to reconsider and provide some form of reimbursement. I hope for a speedy resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, M.R.

Hello, I have tickets booked for a trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida, departing tomorrow and returning on the 6th of September. Even though St. Petersburg airport is currently not on the list of potential flight disruptions due to Hurricane Dorian, I'm concerned it may get affected. I worry that if my two children and I fly in on Friday, we might be asked to evacuate later over the weekend. I don't want to risk our safety knowingly flying into a dangerous situation with an impending hurricane. I'm unsure where to evacuate to and how, especially without transportation. What can I do about my tickets? I've been attempting to call multiple times but haven't had any success. Thank you, A. A.
