My rental has not start yet and I am deeply concerned already. Alamo is certainly not the cheapest company available at the Denver international. In a matter of fact there are * less expensive companies available at the same area. I have chosen Alamo however because I did not want ANY surprises. Was I wrong! *I called the agents to inquire about *x* vehicle capability and I was advised (by an agent who definitely sounded as locates in one of those overseas call centers) that *x* feature “starts in” Standard SUV cathegory. I was quoted $*** For a Standard SUV. $*** total, including all fees and taxes. I accepted and requested e-mail confirmation but I was told that I will NOT be receiving any email. That sounded concerning and proven to be. Last night I called Alamo to verify that the upgrade has taken place and was given a total price of over $***. What happened to the $*** quoted and accepted? *If I wanted to play these bait and switch games I would have gone with “Advantage rental “ Prestige rental” etc. shame on you Alamo for wasting my time!*One more thing, I called * different agents trying to resolve this. I was hang up on twice and no one takes any responsibility for this horrible experience. Confirmation * **********
