Hello, I've been experiencing significant challenges with my Unemployment Claim through the Alabama Dept. of Labor and have been unable to make contact. Despite numerous attempts to call their 1-[redacted] number after hours as advised, I have not been successful in reaching a representative over the past 6 weeks due to high call volumes and technical issues. Additionally, I've tried faxing required information for appeals with no response. It appears my regular Alabama Unemployment benefits expired in May, and I believe I qualify for the PECU/Federal Extension. However, my claim seems to have encountered issues with requests for additional information leading to disqualification without specifics. For any assistance, I can be contacted via text at [redacted] or email at [redacted] Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Eddie M. Claim Number: [redacted]

I am seeking clarity on my unemployment claim situation. Two weeks ago, I was advised to contact the inquiry line. I managed to secure an appointment for the following day, but due to phone service issues, I missed the call and received a voicemail instead. I have been attempting to schedule another appointment since then. However, my status now reflects as monetarily ineligible, even though I was supposed to receive benefits until July 3rd. My benefits ceased in April without explanation. The UI claims tracker prompted me to file a new claim in April, which I did, but I have not received any correspondence since. Prior to that, I responded to two letters requesting information by the specified deadline, but received no further communication. I am awaiting payments from my PUA claims filed weekly before it concluded, and I submitted a new claim as instructed this past Sunday, despite filing one recently. I am eager to understand the timeline for receiving benefits for both PUA and new claims under regular UI. Thank you for your assistance.

I need assistance with my UI and PUA claims. I received instructions two weeks ago to call for an appointment, which I tried to do. However, due to phone service issues, I missed the call and only received a voicemail later. I have been trying to get an appointment since then without success. My benefits were supposed to continue until July 3rd, but payments stopped in April. I filed claims in April and again recently as instructed. Despite sending requested information via fax in response to letters received in April, I have not heard back. I would like to know the status of my PUA and UI benefits, understand why my payments ceased in April when I was approved through July 3rd, and inquire about potential back payments. Thank you for your assistance.

I have encountered a pending issue regarding a separation notice from my employer. I submitted my claim in July but have not received any payment yet. My name is Eve Dismukes and I reside at [redacted] County Road [redacted], Brundidge, Alabama, [redacted]. My Alabama License number is [redacted], date of birth is December 24, [redacted], and my Social Security Number is [redacted]-86-[redacted]. My mother's maiden name is Hartley. The problem seems to be that the necessary paperwork was supposed to be sent to my former employer, but they claim they have not received it. After contacting them, I was advised to send a corrected copy of the separation notice, which I promptly did. I have been without income since July and need assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have never claimed unemployment benefits, yet in [redacted], there were two instances where someone falsely filed using my information. My employer, Cline Tours in Ridgeland, Mississippi, was informed, but we received no communication from your fraud department. As I organize my documents for tax purposes, I discovered a Form [redacted]-G from the Alabama Department of Labor stating I received $[redacted] in [redacted]. Cline Tours confirmed that the FEIN on the form does not belong to them, and they are my sole employer for [redacted]. I have reported these fraudulent claims before, but it seems they were still processed. I urge you to respond to me or contact Cline Tours regarding this matter.

After relocating to Illinois due to my husband's new job, I had to resign from my job. I worked for 4 months until my assignment ended. Unable to find employment, I was advised to apply for unemployment benefits. Upon returning to Alabama in January, I applied for unemployment benefits and have been certifying ever since. However, there seems to be a hold on my account according to the online portal. I have not received any correspondence regarding approval or denial, and I'm having difficulty reaching anyone through the after-hour call lines. I've been diligently trying to follow up on my claim by calling different numbers without any success. It's frustrating as this is money I have earned through hard work. My financial situation is dire, with bills overdue and facing the risk of eviction. Despite attending multiple interviews, I have yet to secure employment. I am eager for someone to address my concerns regarding my claim. Thank you.

I experienced a sudden termination after working one shift in a different department. Despite clarifying that the scanner use was not within my usual duties, they cited a gap in time before letting me go without prior discussion or warning. It has now been approximately 17 to 18 weeks, and I still lack any updates on my unemployment claim status. I have diligently fulfilled all necessary obligations each week. I am eager to receive an update on when my claim will be reviewed and obtain any available information.

I have ongoing issues affecting my payments. I have been calling every evening for five weeks and receiving the same message that all call back appointments are booked for the next day. Even after emailing them, I haven't had any luck resolving the separation issue. I have been out of work for six weeks and urgently need my claim to be fixed. I work in football helmet reconditioning, and we were temporarily laid off until the season starts. I have submitted a letter from my boss through the website for claims, but the issue persists. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.
