I have a listing on Airbnb and like the fact that AirBnb is successful in finding potential renters for me. My only issue is that AirBnb continues to change my rates when there’s an inquiry. The first one happened yesterday — my rate is $*** per night during the high season But AirBnb quoted $*** per night. I apologize to the potential renter that my rate was actually *** per night and we lost the booking. Had the potential renter know what my rate was before inquiring, they would’ve felt less frustrated . Then a few minutes ago, I received another inquiry through Airbnb and while you had the rate correct the first time $*** per night, AirBnb adjusted it down to $*** per night. Why is this happening? It’s frustrating and creating bad reputation. My rates are based upon my costs and must stand. How do I resolve this?
