I would like AirBNB to compensate me $**** for canceling a reservation for no reason. Here is what I am trying to send them but they have no email address for support.********************************************I am absolutely appalled about your latest policy to allow renters to cancel their reservations up to June **, ****. I had a renter that booked back in January and decided to cancel last week (HM*BAEADDQ). Their booking was for June **-** and you refunded their money with no penalty. AND to add insult to injury, you expire your **% refund policy to the end of May but somehow continue to allow cancellations past that. **You have no right to do that. The area that they are travelling from and the area that the home is in will have no restrictions at that time. How can AirBNB pass a policy that supersedes all government restrictions and orders? You are really playing God with your hosts money. AirBNB is nothing without it's hosts and the way you have treated them throughout Covid is appalling. Hardworking people who trusted their homes and rental business' with AirBNB are basically being screwed. **I have rented two high end homes through VRBO and HomeAway for the past ** years. They have always done a wonderful job and have supported the homeowners through this crisis. I have had several renters who I allowed to cancel and refunded their $$ because the couldn't come to the home. **I have no intention of keeping anyone's money if they could not travel there or use the home. But there is no legitimate reason for this renter to have canceled and AirBNB allowed them to do so.**At a time when AirBNB is already having financial struggles and continues to have to lay off people, a little respect and loyalty to your hosts would have gone a long way. **I intent do cancel both of my homes and continue to rent through companies that support the homeowners.**And I intend to make it clear to everyone I know who is a host or a traveler that they should stop using AirBNB and use VRBO*HomeAway instead.
