I actually just called airbnb after I did a search on the internet for the support number. The phone was answered on the *th ring and I was speaking with a supervisor within a few minutes. I think the quick resolution may in part be because I am a super host. The supervisor was helpful but most of the work getting this into claim status - calling the incoming guests, etc - was done by me. In fact, the repair work needs to be completed, photographs taken of the damage and then I need to send the bill to the guest that did the damage. Only then, after the guest refuses to pay up can I involve airbnb.
