I reserved two different sized properties for the same period as part of the party had not confirmed and we didn’t know how many bedrooms we needed. There were few places available so I reserved both so we didn’t miss out on whichever one we needed. Both properties stated they had a ** hour full refund cancellation period. However when I came to cancel one of them (within the ** hour period) I was charged the hefty £*** Airbnb booking fee for the cancelled property. It was only when I read the very small print that it was evident as this was because I’d booked two properties for the same period. Not made clear when I reserved the second property. I have not yet contacted Airbnb as there isn’t an obvious way to do it by phone or from the iOS phone app.

GetHuman-zoegardn did not yet indicate what AirBnB should do to make this right.

I used the contact number on the site (uk). Surprisingly they refunded the booking fee straight away. I think as I was still within the ** hour period for nigh properties.
