We booked a property yesterday and it was not as described at all. The listing stated the “kitchen was under construction” but the entire house was dirty, in disrepair and mid-construction. It was described as a “clean home” but it was far from that. Hair on the plastic shower curtains (that attacked a user while they showered), chunks of peeling paint, stains on the sheets (I have photos of all of these I can send to Air B&B so they can verify). Additionally, the pane of glass in the front door was busted next to the lock so that you could just reach in through the busted pane from the outside and unlock the door from the inside (even if the occupant locked it). We got there at **pm after a long travel day so we didn’t have anywhere else to go, so we stayed. But it was a quick and nervous night :* We write the owner on Air B&B last night and said “hey this place is pretty ghetto” and he texted us in the morning offering us free breakfast at his friend’s restaurant :* That wasn’t really what I was worried about, but thanks :( The property can be nice and safe one day but it is currently dirty, in disrepair and unsafe. And they can’t have stained sheets for their guests... that’s just gross...
