airbnb has canceled all reservations from June through October stating that "registration wasn't approved" from San Francisco. We are at City Hall now and they have our business licence and short-term residential rental certificate STR-********* on file. Airbnb has canceled ** reservations. Please reinstate these reservations, offer an apology of inconvenience to all the ** reservation customers whom they returned funds to and allow them to reserve the studio for their date. Since Airbnb has taken all the reservations off our site, we do not have access to names, emails, in order to apologize for airbnb's mistake. And we do not want to have a list of bad recommendations since this is airbnb's issue . We hope you can deal with this asap for this is our income, our mortgage payment, our livelihood. How GetHuman756912 fixed the problem
First, I emailed the ** families that were canceled and told them of the "airbnb glitch" and that I would update them. Then I spent ** hours calling airbnb and got no where. So after ** hours, I redid the entire website, called airbnb to see if there was anything I was missing. Then I emailed each of the ** guests and had them reregister for the same dates as an "inquiry" so I could monitor and make sure that these folks got the same dates they had asked for. When new "inquiries" showed up, I checked their names and dates against the list I kept so as to make sure the ** families had priority. Out of the ** guests, only one found another reservation. Each and every guest feels like we worked together and are looking forward to staying here. Whew! Days of work, but we like our guests and we want them happy. Vacations should be delightful and not filled with airbnb reservation nightmares.
