To & Fro tickets to Delhi & back from Bangalore were booked by me online. However inadvertently the return ticket was booked for ********* instead of *********. Immediately I modified the ticket vide web reference no AIBE********, Booking Reference No. Y*PFO and E Ticket No. **********. A difference amount of Rs *****- was collected from me on line. I request you to kindly clarify whether the difference is in * the nature of penalty or is it the fare difference on the day of travel.*My Office (a Central Govt organisation) has disallowed my claim for reimbursement of the differential cost stating that it is a penalty levied.
