Hello, I am reaching out via chat because I have only received the e-commerce automatic response to my two emails twice. The issue lies with there being two bookings and charges made under my name for the same flights. I request to revoke the booking and charge for Booking ID: JK6GF. I did not receive a booking confirmation email nor e-tickets from Air India for this booking. Had I received this information by May 24, I would not have booked the tickets for the same flight on May 25 through Travelgenio. Best Regards, Ariely Here is a copy of my latest email I sent to e-commerce at Air India: From: Mordechay Ariely <[redacted]> Date: June 1 (2 days ago) Hello, This is my second email asking you to revoke the unjustified double charging for the same flight. Updates as follows: 1. On June 1, I received two emails from Air India regarding: - Booking number Y24BP made on February 25 using Travelgenio - Booking number JK6GF, which I requested to be revoked in an email to you on May 27. Attached is a screenshot of my email inbox regarding Air India. 2. Please refer to the attachments for my email screen print copy. You can see that the booking confirmation made through Travelgenio was received on April 25 immediately after I made the booking on the same date. 3. Air India did not send me any booking confirmation, not on May 24 or any other day. Email confirmation of bookings is a standard global practice. On June 1, I received two tickets from Air India for the same flight. 4. Kindly revoke the JK6GF booking, as requested in my previous email. Air India failed to send me any booking confirmation on February 24, and they never do send confirmations. If I had received an email confirmation, I would not have booked tickets for the same flight on February 25 through Travelgenio. The flight is scheduled for February 26, [redacted] - eight months away. I believe Air India can revoke the double booking without any repercussions to the company. Looking forward to a positive response. Regards, Ariely

Officer, Good Morning, I am Udayakumar Harigopal residing in Sweden. On June 15, [redacted], I purchased a ticket for my wife from Chennai to Gothenburg through "tripsta.se" which was for an Air India flight with reference number F[redacted]87 ([redacted][redacted]). Please see the attached ticket for details. Unexpectedly, on July 27, [redacted], "tripsta" cancelled the ticket and received a refund from Air India without my approval. They advised me to reach out to the airline for any refund inquiries (email attached). Following contact with Air India customer service, I was informed that the refund was issued to "tripsta." To resolve this matter, I raised a complaint with "SEB bank" and retrieved my funds through the credit card "secure pay" option after their investigation. However, "tripsta" is now denying the cancellation of the ticket when contacted by my bank. I kindly request your assistance in confirming that the mentioned travel number was indeed cancelled by the tripsta travel agency and that the ticket was not utilized. Thank you for your attention to this matter. P.S. I have made a new booking for my wife on the same Air India flight through mytrip.com with booking number: [redacted][redacted] (Booking reference code: ZORKCI).

Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a flight with booking number BZPELE from New Delhi to New York, Kennedy (JFK) on December 25. Unfortunately, I have to cancel due to my daughter's high-risk pregnancy requiring immediate assistance. I read on the Air India website that I am eligible for a refund under these circumstances. Please advise me on any required medical documentation. My daughter has a health certificate from her doctor. Kindly guide me through the refund process promptly. Thank you, Sincerely, Ines P. Hello, I have booked a round trip ticket with a layover in Delhi. On my way from Kabul, I received a hotel voucher due to a stamp on my ticket by Air India staff. However, upon my return from Sydney and approaching the staff at the airport in Sydney, I was informed that the stamp should cover both journeys. I am currently at the international transfer desk, and the staff here are refusing to provide me with accommodation and are being quite rude about it. Could you please verify this situation so that I can make use of the voucher provided to me? Thank you. Best regards, Batoor Sieyal PMP | Fulbright Scholar MSc. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to inform you that my family and I took an Air India flight (Flight Number AI [redacted]) from Kolkata to Silchar on June 3, [redacted]. The ticket details are as follows: PNR JQYW7, Booking ID AB34202. The passengers were: 1. S. S. Das 2. S. Das 3. S. Das 4. S. Das. Additionally, we returned from Silchar to Kolkata on June 13, [redacted], on the same flight. The ticket details for the return journey are PNR YCYY2, Booking ID AB34203. Regrettably, we seem to have misplaced our boarding passes, which I need to submit to my employer, the Indian Air Force. I kindly request your assistance in providing a certificate confirming our travel for both flights. This certificate is crucial in avoiding any penalties. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. S. S. Das

On my return from Delhi to JFK this morning on an Air India business class flight, I encountered some concerning issues. Initially seated in 14K, I was reassigned a less desirable seat, 12A, next to the restroom. The area around me remained curtained off during the flight for the crew's use, which I accepted despite my discomfort. However, the behavior of the young flight attendants towards the end of the flight was unacceptable. After sleeping through the first meal service, I requested the second meal only to be ignored for 45 minutes while they served others. When reminded about my meal, they brushed it off as a simple mistake. Their dismissive and condescending attitude was disappointing, and I felt compelled to share my experience here. I hope this feedback serves as a reminder for the airline to address such behavior from its staff. Thank you. Mamta T.

My father, who used to work for Indian Airlines, retired, and today, on January 30th, I visited NTB to register my name, my wife's name, and my brother-in-law's name. Unfortunately, my experience was unpleasant due to the rude treatment and humiliation I received from Mrs. Arti Nayak, an Air India staff member. Despite my respectful behavior, Mrs. Nayak was dismissive and raised her voice, insisting I needed my father present for the registration. Even though I explained my father's illness, she insisted I return in 15 days, becoming agitated when I inquired about the extended wait time. This mistreatment, including being asked to move from my seat, led to a prolonged wait and left me feeling disrespected. I have worked for a reputable U.S. company and never encountered such discourteous service. I believe Air India should address this matter promptly to maintain its reputation for fair treatment of all customers. Sincerely, Santosh Kohli

On February 4th, I had a flight scheduled from JFK to Delhi, but due to visa issues, I had to reschedule. At JFK, the Air India check-in manager assured me that my reservation was put on hold to allow me to rebook without a no-show fee once my visa situation was resolved. However, when I rebooked for February 7th, I was unexpectedly charged both a rebooking and a no-show fee totaling $[redacted] each by the booking company. Despite numerous attempts to contact Air India to dispute the no-show charge, I have not received a response. I am pursuing a refund for the no-show fee as promised and will be escalating this issue to the American Embassy in Delhi if necessary.

I am Kurri Nikhil Reddy. On March 25th, my original flights from Hyderabad to Delhi and then to Frankfurt were rearranged by Air India due to a rescheduled flight from Delhi to Frankfurt. Consequently, my new route was from Hyderabad to Mumbai and then from Mumbai to Frankfurt on flight AI [redacted], which experienced a delay. The flight that was supposed to arrive in Frankfurt at 14:45, landed only at 17:15, causing me to miss my train to Freiberg on both the 25th and the 26th, incurring additional expenses of 36€ and 95.95€ respectively. Due to Air India's inadequate communication and flight delays, I have lost approximately [redacted]€ in total. I am requesting a refund for these costs.

I recently flew from the UK to Kolkata with a connecting flight that was cancelled, resulting in a long wait at the airport for assistance from Air India. Despite being informed that hotel accommodation would be arranged, this did not happen promptly, causing further delay. I was eventually given a new flight for Monday, the 6th, after a total of 7 hours of waiting. However, I am dissatisfied with the service provided and the lack of support during this process. As I have urgent business in Kolkata, I am seeking assistance from Air India to change my ticket for an earlier departure from Delhi. My ticket number is AI [redacted].

Hello, I have been attempting to contact someone for the past three days concerning a flight change, but I have been facing wait times of over 40 minutes or getting disconnected. Despite being a 24/7 service, nobody is answering the phone, which is unacceptable. I just need clarification on how my connecting flight will be handled after the schedule change. I am concerned about missing my connection from DEL to VGA after a 15-hour journey. The current situation is inconvenient, as my daughter's flight now arrives in our hometown 12 hours before mine due to your scheduling issue. I cannot finalize my acceptance of the schedule change until the connecting flight matter is resolved and reflected on my itinerary. It is frustrating to deal with this level of uncertainty after booking well in advance. I urge prompt assistance to address our travel dilemma. Best regards, Rama K. Koneru

Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out concerning a typo in the passenger name on a recent Air India booking made this morning. The booking reference is Y4D4E (AI) for the flight from Singapore (via Delhi) to Frankfurt scheduled for July 2nd. The passenger name currently states “Frankziska Muesebeck” but should actually be “Franziska Muesebeck” without the extra “k” in the name. Could you please assist in correcting this error? Thank you, Johannes Muesebeck

My domestic flight from Asr to Del was canceled, and I received an email and text notification about the schedule change. The new timings made me miss my connecting international flight to Mel as there's a tight turnaround. Despite contacting Air India via email and phone multiple times, I haven't received a satisfactory response. The customer service experience has been frustrating with long wait times on the phone, unmet callback promises, and unhelpful automated options. It's disappointing how Air India is handling this situation, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them despite the high ticket prices.

I have a reservation for a flight from DC to Delhi to Vijayawada on July 17, [redacted]. I recently received a message about a change in the flight schedule. The new schedule has a 17-hour layover in Delhi before my flight to Vijayawada the next morning. There is an evening flight to Vijayawada from Delhi, which was my original booking. I would like to be put on the same day evening flight. If I end up having to stay the 17-hour layover in Delhi due to the schedule change, will food and room expenses be covered? I have health issues that prevent me from staying that long in the airport. Please change my Delhi to Vijayawada flight to the evening of July 18th, as there is enough time between arrival and the connecting flight. Thank you.
