Our flight from Thunder Bay to Barbados was changed without prior notice. The original departure date of February 3rd was rescheduled by Air Canada to February 2nd. This sudden change caused inconvenience and additional expenses for us to accommodate the new date. Will we receive compensation for this disruption, including reimbursement for the unexpected overnight stay in Toronto? Please address this matter promptly. I am travelling to Canada from Dublin to Toronto tomorrow. I rely on a CPAP machine for sleep apnea and plan to transport it in the cabin without using it during the flight. I understand I need to notify customer reservations, but have been unable to reach them by phone. I simply want to confirm if it's okay to bring the machine on board since there is no battery involved, and I will only use it in my hotel in Canada. I appreciate a swift response from Air Canada. My flight scheduled for December 19th from Toronto to Hartford got canceled. The journey began in London, Ontario. I had to stay overnight at Toronto airport and was rebooked on a flight the following day to Montreal. Unfortunately, the flight from Montreal to Hartford was also canceled due to mechanical problems. After some delay, I managed to board another flight to Hartford. Because my holiday plans were disrupted, I am wondering if there is a possibility to reschedule my return flight to stay an extra day in Hartford without facing any additional charges.

I am wondering if there is a price drop policy available as the fare has significantly decreased since I made my booking with Air Canada. I have been waiting on hold for 1.5 hours, which has been frustrating. In the past, booking with Sunwing has provided me with a price drop guarantee. This time, the difference in price is substantial, around $[redacted]. Additionally, I had to pay extra to reserve seats to ensure that my husband and I can sit together.

I traveled with Air Canada and am scheduled to return on January 13, [redacted], from Karachi to Edmonton with Airline Confirmation Code: VTXOPT, Passenger: A. Abdullah. Having been a loyal Air Canada customer for 25 years, I was surprised to learn that no checked baggage is allowed on this upcoming flight. When flying with Air Canada previously, I had always been able to check two bags. This change is disappointing as we have accumulated a significant amount of Aeroplan miles over the years. I hope Air Canada reconsiders this policy as it may impact our decision to continue flying with them.

I need to modify my flight with Air Canada online. I would like to change it to an earlier date, specifically 4 days before my original booking. Unfortunately, the website only displays options 3 days before or after my initial flight date. I want to know if it's feasible to make this adjustment without canceling my original booking and making a new reservation. This essential information seems to be missing from the website and my ticket receipt.

I recently tried to access my flight details on the aircanada.com website. It stated that I was unable to modify my ticket and to contact AC reservations. I've tried calling twice in the last day, but each time I was told there might be a 60-minute wait. Strangely, both calls were disconnected after just 30 minutes. Additionally, I had to download the app where I discovered that AC has misspelled my first name. Unfortunately, I am unable to correct this error through the app as well.

I booked round-trip flight tickets for my wife and myself from Dallas, TX, USA, to Shanghai, China. Our return flight is scheduled for March 1 on Flight 26 from Shanghai to Vancouver and then on March 2 from Vancouver to Dallas on Flight [redacted]. I would like to inquire about the possibility of changing the date of Flight [redacted] from March 2 to March 4 to extend our stay in Vancouver. I booked flights through Expedia and bought seat selections through Air Canada. After Air Canada canceled the flights and didn't issue a refund, we booked new flights and purchased seat selections again. Following another flight time change, we had to contact Expedia to adjust the itinerary. When we finally secured suitable flights, Air Canada canceled the seat selections, leading us to buy them a third time. We seek a refund for the seat selections that are no longer on our itinerary. This ordeal began on Oct 20, [redacted], and has been exceptionally frustrating.

I appreciate your support! I am currently attempting to cancel a flight scheduled for February with Air Canada. It seems my flight has been rescheduled and given a new reference number without any prior notification. Despite purchasing the ticket through their website, I am encountering difficulties managing the flight online, which is supposedly the recommended method. I am having trouble retrieving my baggage. I had a connecting flight from Toronto to Kingston, and I left my luggage at belt number 2 in Toronto airport. However, upon reaching the Air Canada check-in counter, I was informed that my flight was cancelled. The Air Canada staff advised me to take a rail to Kingston, which I did, but I forgot to inquire about my luggage. I need my luggage returned to me promptly at [redacted] Norman Rogers in Kingston.

My flight from Montreal to Toronto today was canceled because of the weather conditions. Oddly, I wasn't notified via email, but my Google Assistant app alerted me. I've been attempting to contact Air Canada's customer service without success; calls either disconnect or I hear that they can't take my call. I have already submitted a form for a canceled flight claim. Is there anything else I can do to get a refund? At this point, I'm not even interested in being rebooked; I plan to take the train instead. I just want my money back.

My wife and I were scheduled on flight AC8311 from Vancouver to Comox. Unfortunately, the flight got canceled due to a crew shortage. This resulted in us arriving over 12 hours later than planned. When I submitted a claim for compensation and provided the flight details, the message I received indicated that I was eligible for compensation but cited the flights we took instead of the canceled one. Why is that?

Our flight was from Toronto to Yellowknife on December 18, with layovers in Edmonton and Calgary. Unfortunately, we missed our connecting flight from Calgary to Yellowknife due to the mishandling of the staff. The lady at the gate entrance incorrectly informed us that our flight was canceled, leading us to the customer service desk. Upon arrival, we were informed that our flight was not canceled, and the boarding gate had already closed.

Flight [redacted] to Toronto was canceled, along with 4 other AC flights, supposedly due to weather. Porter and Westjet operated, but we were left waiting in line for over 5 hours with just one agent at around 11:00pm. Trying to locate an affordable hotel near the airport was challenging. Disappointed with AC's service, reconsidering future use. It would be appreciated to receive compensation for the hotel stay. Three senior ladies with health concerns found standing for such a long period very difficult.

I booked a ticket for my husband, A.B., using Aeroplan miles on August 31, [redacted]. However, we need to change or cancel the booking for a different date and destination. I've attempted to cancel online through Aeroplan, but the "manage bookings" page is not found. I've called customer service three times, waiting for over 2.5 hours each time, but have not been able to reach anyone. My flight got canceled because of the weather. An Air Canada agent rebooked me for the following day, but that flight was also canceled without a clear reason, leading to another rescheduled flight with a challenging itinerary featuring a 9-hour layover. I've noticed other options available but can't book them online through "My Bookings" with no explanation. Calling Air Canada has resulted in being placed on hold for more than an hour.

I spent 17 hours traveling from Montreal to Windsor via Toronto with one connection. Unfortunately, after a negative experience with your airline, I arrived home on New Year's Eve without my luggage. I had to cancel a flight from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Las Vegas, Nevada on January 26, [redacted], returning on February 1, [redacted] due to illness. I am seeking assistance regarding a mileage discrepancy with Aeroplan for recent flights with Swiss International and All Nippon Airlines in November and early December.
