GetHuman-cazjmaye's Baggage Problem issue with Air Canada from December 2019
Help with my Air Canada issue
Top Tip from another customer
If you've travelled on multiple airlines, the airline that takes you to your destination is always responsible for retrieving your bag, even if you departed on a different airline.
The issue in GetHuman-cazjmaye's own words
My son, Lex Dobson, traveled back to the Cayman Islands from Toronto on Thursday **th December on flight AC***. He did self check in and put his bag tag on his * piece of checked luggage but has lost his bag tag. The bag never arrived in the Cayman Islands and we are trying to get on to someone to find out if we can get the bag tag numbers so we can track the bags. We try to call the Air Canada numbers but they are toll free from North America and do not work when calling from the Cayman Islands. We have some very sentimental Christmas presents in his bag and are desperately trying to find out if the bag left Canada or if it is somewhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
