I recently booked a flight with Flight Centre on Air Canada AC [redacted] from Montreal to Vancouver on Monday, October 26, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I discovered that I was booked on a Boeing [redacted] Max aircraft, which has been grounded due to safety concerns after two crashes. Given the history of this aircraft, I was concerned about my safety and decided to change my flight, incurring an extra cost of $[redacted]. Flight Centre covered the cancellation fee, acknowledging that booking passengers on this aircraft was unacceptable. I am looking for an explanation as to why Air Canada and their agents continue to schedule flights on this particular aircraft.

I am experiencing difficulties with my passport and will unfortunately not be able to return home as scheduled on January 2nd. I have been struggling to modify or cancel my flight reservation for several hours without any success. My booking was made through the Flightnetwork website, and despite contacting them twice, the representatives do not seem to comprehend my issue. They insist that it is impossible to alter or cancel my reservation due to Air Canada's restrictions. However, I am confident that my Economy Standard ticket permits changes with a fee. Could you kindly reach out to me to assist in resolving this matter?

I booked a flight that Air Canada changed. The new flights are AC [redacted] from Kelowna to Vancouver and AC [redacted] from Vancouver to Denver on Feb. 22, [redacted]. However, I have a crucial business meeting that morning and would like to request a change to flying from Kelowna to Denver through Calgary at 11:30 AM on the same day. Thank you for your assistance. I was on Air Canada flight AC [redacted] from Montreal to Toronto on December 18, [redacted], scheduled to depart at 9:30 pm. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed three times due to a lack of pilots. We finally boarded at 11:30 pm but didn't depart until 12:30 am after waiting for the pilots. We arrived in Toronto at 1:30 am with a 45-minute delay in baggage claim. I find this unacceptable, as delays due to pilot availability should not occur. My booking reference is M2ZRLA. I believe Air Canada needs to address this issue, as it caused me to miss work on December 19. Thank you for your attention, I am looking forward to a response.

I made a booking through expedia.ca for an 8:10 AM flight, but it was actually scheduled for 8:10 PM. Unfortunately, I missed my flight because I needed to connect to an international flight in Vancouver that morning. I was hoping if it's possible to receive a credit for a future flight due to this senior mistake. I would greatly appreciate your assistance as Expedia was unable to help me in this matter. Thank you for considering my request. D. Holtzhauer

I had a flight scheduled out of Boston on the 19th at 8:55pm but it got delayed, causing me to miss my connection to POS. The airline then rebooked me on a flight for the 20th from Boston to New York, then to Miami, and finally to Barbados, where I have to stay overnight and depart on the 21st. I now need a hotel in Barbados for my kids and me. I received no food voucher or assistance, and my flight was delayed for 2 hours this morning as well. Is there any way I can go from Miami to POS directly to avoid more delays and exhaustion? My phone number is [redacted] and my email is [redacted]

My flight on December 3rd was delayed, forcing me to spend the night in Gander. I received no compensation for the inconvenience, including no hotel accommodation or meal. To add to this, my $[redacted] leather bag was soaking wet when I retrieved it from under the seat. Over the past five months, almost every flight I have taken, typically 2-3 times a month, with your partner AVAS has been delayed. I have never asked for compensation before, but this experience was too much. Sleeping on the airport floor without food or any assistance was unacceptable. I have tried calling multiple times to address these issues but kept getting cut off or couldn't stay on hold for over an hour. I am very disappointed and would like a callback to resolve these matters.

I made a flight booking back on September 14th from London, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta, scheduled for December 29th. I received a confirmation with booking reference # K2VYAI. However, when I checked yesterday, the system showed an error saying it doesn't exist. The payment of $[redacted].38 was made using an American Express card - $[redacted] for 2 adults, $76.00 for seat selection, and $[redacted].35 for taxes and fees. Could you please assist in resolving this matter promptly? Thank you, Kevin Pedersen

My daughter is upset at SeaTac baggage claim due to a delayed flight, causing her to miss her connection to Israel. She needs assistance to book another flight today to attend her brother's wedding. Her luggage is missing as Air Canada failed to transfer it to the missed flight. Despite her fibromyalgia and emotional distress, she is struggling to find the support she requires. The flight details were YVR to SEA on AC [redacted], connecting to UA [redacted]. Her name is M.K. and her contact number is +[redacted]5, but reaching out by phone has been unsuccessful. Airport staff are unavailable to assist her.

I would like to request my flight history for the year [redacted] to be emailed to me. I flew from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Edmonton three times a month throughout the entire year. I need to verify my Aeroplan points to possibly reach 35k status. Despite flying with five colleagues who are all 35k members, I have not achieved this status and suspect my Aeroplan points are not being credited correctly. Obtaining all my flight details for [redacted] is essential for me to contact Aeroplan and investigate what might have gone wrong.

I purchased a ticket for seat 40C on AC Flight [redacted] from Brisbane, Australia to Vancouver, Canada with booking reference J4GQOS. Initially, my online boarding pass confirmed seat 40C, but upon checking again, it now indicates seat 20C. I have physical copies of my boarding pass and receipt showing seat 40C. I kindly request assurance that I will have seat 40 on my flight from Brisbane to Vancouver. Additionally, I seek confirmation for seat 2C on AC Flight [redacted] from Vancouver to Seattle. Although the online boarding pass for the Seattle flight is unavailable, I do have a printed receipt for this reservation.

Hello, My family and I reside in Canada. We had booked tickets for our trip to India through Air Canada from Toronto to Delhi and back via Air Trip Maker. Upon completing the payment, the representative informed me about an additional complementary one-way trip on the same day we return to Toronto. This offer is for a flight from Toronto to San Francisco via United Airlines, which we have the option to accept or decline. Our main concern is that if we do not intend to use this flight, our checked baggage might inadvertently end up in San Francisco when we board the Air Canada flight from Delhi to Toronto on the 15th of January. This could potentially cause unnecessary inconvenience and complications for us. We kindly request to have this additional sector removed from our itinerary to avoid any difficulties during our travel. Thank you, Arun Santram

My son, L. D., flew back to the Cayman Islands from Toronto on Thursday, December 19th, on flight AC972. Despite self-checking in and tagging his luggage, he misplaced the bag tag. His luggage did not make it to the Cayman Islands, and we're attempting to retrieve the bag tag numbers for tracking. Unfortunately, calling Air Canada's toll-free numbers from the Cayman Islands has been unsuccessful. Inside the bag, there are sentimental Christmas gifts we're eager to locate. Any assistance in this matter would be highly valued.

I submitted a request earlier and I was just checking on the status. In November, we had flights booked with Air Canada from Calgary to Frankfurt, which we had to cancel due to my husband's medical procedure being canceled by the hospital. We made the booking through a third-party website. An Air Canada representative advised me to submit a refund request. We are looking to travel to Germany for the procedure on January 8th and were hoping for a potential credit for this upcoming flight.

My flight with Air Canada got cancelled without any notification. Despite reaching out multiple times via phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages, I have received no response even three weeks later. I find it completely unacceptable that my concerns about the December 2nd flight have been ignored. Seeing Air Canada's customer service representatives responding to others on social media adds to my frustration. I am eager to speak with a representative directly to address this issue promptly.
