Booking reference QVDWDZ on Friday April * when I learned about forecasted weather conditions in Toronto on Saturday I decided to go to the airport to travel a day early, stay overnight at my own expense in Toronto to ensure I would make the flight to Amsterdam. Upon arrival I was told that an automatic rebooking system had rebooked me to travel on Monday April * WITHOUT CONTACTING ME! a business class passenger. I was told that I could no longer fly on the connecting flight Saturday from Toronto as the flight was now fully booked. They recommended NOT to fly to Toronto as all flights to Europe on Saturday where now fully booked so going to Toronto I would get stuck there. I was rebooked on your flight to London on April *. This flight as your records will show returned after two hours to Ottawa with an overheated computer system. I had to overnight in a hotel provided by you and received a vouchers for three meals in a hotel that has no restaurant, Dutch treat! I subsequently at **.** in the morning had to rebook myself as the airport staff was not equipped to do that for *** stranded passengers. After ** minutes I finally I finally connected to an agent who rebooked me on the so called "fully booked" flight from Toronto to Amsterdam. I travelled to Toronto on a flight that departed at **.** but after circling over Toronto airport for an hour has to return to Ottawa as fuel was running out. In Ottawa I was rebooked on the London flight with the assurance that I would be met in London with a boarding pass for the connecting flight to Amsterdam. No one met me and neither was there wheelchair assistance to first go to the AC counter not to receive a boarding pass but a voucher with the instruction to go to the BA terminal to stand in line for a boarding pass. All this could have been avoided if you had shown me the courtesy to call me to discuss how to reschedule my flight rather than having an automatic system to rebook me without any consultation.
