I reserved a room at OYO [redacted] Status Suites for November 20, [redacted], with Booking ID: [redacted]41. I utilized my RuPay card to pay through Agoda. Upon arrival, they refused to check me in, claiming they weren't affiliated with Agoda and wouldn't accept my booking. Despite showing the confirmation email, I was turned away. Sadly, I had to book another place and pay again since they didn't refund my Agoda payment. I attempted to contact Agoda, but there was no customer service information available on the app. I urge you to investigate this matter and arrange a refund. My family and I reserved two rooms at La Quinta by Wyndham in Phoenix and experienced a troubling situation. Room [redacted], which was paid in full along with a $75 deposit, was unexpectedly given to another family in the middle of the night. As a result, there was a tense moment when the latch device on the door prevented their entry. This caused initial alarm until I noticed a young child outside, which helped diffuse the situation slightly. Security later arrived, requesting our reservation details, and left abruptly after confirming our status. The following day, the manager agreed to comp the two-night stay in room [redacted], but I believe both rooms should have been refunded due to the unsettling incident. I was surprised to see that my booking went through on Agoda without being prompted to enter my information. Usually, I expect to input details before finalizing a reservation. This led to an error, as the booking was completed with incorrect passenger information while I was just browsing. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an option to modify or cancel the booking even within 24 hours. It's frustrating to not have a chance to correct this mistake, especially considering the non-refundable nature of the $[redacted] charge. I am also in the process of checking COVID restrictions. I hope to be able to adjust or cancel this reservation in order to properly plan my parents' and brother's vacation.

I was surprised that I was immediately booked without being prompted for my information on Agoda, as it seemed my details were already saved. Typically, bookings require entering details first. This led to unintentionally booking without the correct number of passengers, as I was just browsing. There was no opportunity for modification after booking, even within ** hours. I booked a room at Solaria Nishitetsu Premier in Kyoto on Nov. 17/18. I selected "Pay at the Hotel," but noticed the full payment was deducted from my account. I canceled, requested a refund, and rebooked with the same payment option. Unfortunately, my account was debited again immediately, causing an overdraft when my rent was due. I still want the reservation but am hesitant to book online again after this incident with Agoda, despite using them before. Can I get help from a person to secure the booking promptly? I specifically reserved a SHA Plus Hotel in Bangkok with a PCR test and direct airport transfer, as this is now mandatory upon entry to Thailand due to a new COVID-19 regulation. I require a confirmation from the hotel for the new Thailand Pass, but despite reaching out twice to the provided email address, I have not received a response. I then tried contacting a different email address found on the hotel's website, but still no luck. I kindly request a refund from the hotel so I can make a new booking for an SHA Plus hotel on Agoda. Cancellation of my booking with reservation number [redacted]07 with check-in on Friday, December 17, [redacted] at Salil Hotel Sukhumvit - Soi Thonglor 1, Bangkok, Thailand. The booking required payment prior to confirmation. The booked stay was mandatory as part of the visa requirements stipulated by the Thai government. On November 26, [redacted], the Thai government lifted this visa requirement. Therefore, the cancellation was necessary, and I now anticipate the refund of the advance payment due to none of the agreed-upon services being provided by the hotel.

I need advice, please. I made a reservation for a hotel in Pattaya through Agoda. Upon arrival, the hotel refused to accommodate us, although I did not cancel the booking or miss the check-in time. I encountered an issue with my booking from November 22nd to November 23rd. Upon arrival, I discovered that the location had closed a year ago. The hotel confirmed that Agoda had been falsely advertising their property and profiting from unsuspecting customers. Agoda's customer service is unhelpful, with an inadequate bot system that fails to address complaints. I am frustrated and demand a refund for this terrible experience. I want my money returned without further complication. I will not be using Agoda in the future due to this scam. The hotel in question is Brookes and Moore Hostel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Despite changing my bank card as per your urgent request on November 11, [redacted], within the 6-hour timeframe given at 6:00 P.M., my reservation was abruptly canceled by Agoda without my consent. This left my family and me stranded without accommodation. Your claim that I requested the cancellation is false. I am currently lodging in my vehicle as a result of this issue. I am compelled to file an official complaint with the Ministry of Tourism against Agoda for this unacceptable situation. I will also be advising my friends to avoid using your booking services. I have reserved a standard king room at Mena Red Sea Palace Hotel in Jeddah through Agoda with reservation number [redacted]33 for one night from November 28, [redacted], to November 29, [redacted], and I have already paid the full amount using my mada card *[redacted]. The total amount paid was [redacted].31 SAR. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to check-in on the reserved date. I contacted the hotel to change the reservation date, but they mentioned that the reservation was confirmed by the website and the amount was not yet transferred to the hotel. When attempting to change the date on the website, the request was denied, stating that the reservation was confirmed and the amount was non-refundable. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with a reservation I made through the Agoda online platform on October 9th for Baleia a Vista Sea View Lodge. After receiving confirmation reservation ID [redacted]03, I attempted to reach out to the property with questions but did not receive a response for 8 days. When I visited the property in person on Monday, October 18th, the manager claimed they had no record of my reservation. Despite this, on Monday, October 19th, I received an email stating the property was fully booked and my reservation was canceled. This situation is both unbelievable and unacceptable. It is concerning that after making a confirmed booking and payment, the property suddenly claimed to be fully booked. I encountered difficulties making a 50% advance payment with the provided bank and WesterUnion details. Despite numerous requests for the correct information, I continually received the wrong response. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were unexpectedly asked to leave, despite having a confirmed reservation and showing proof of it. Despite offering payment in cash or credit card multiple times, we were only offered a different room at a higher rate after contacting the hotel at +[redacted]56 and +[redacted]98. Unfortunately, communication is solely in Spanish, making it challenging to resolve issues over the phone. I'm unsure about any refund entitlements or the next steps. Hello! I wanted to share my recent experience with booking a flight to Penang on Agoda. Despite the ticket showing a 20kg checked baggage allowance, I was surprised when the airline staff informed me otherwise at the airport counter. This resulted in an unexpected additional cost of RM79.50. The airline suggested reaching out to Agoda to clarify whether the issue lies with them or the airline. I stayed at the Days Inn in Peachtree City, GA, on Nov. 23, [redacted], booking through Agoda. During the night, I found roaches in my room and recorded myself dealing with one at 4:50 AM when it was 26°F outside. In the morning, I spoke with Talea at the front desk about a refund. She mentioned it would take about 10 days due to booking through agoda.com, offering a free night instead. However, when I returned to book it, she now said it was only a 10% discount. I've been unable to reach anyone at agoda.com for my refund. How can I reach agoda for help?

Yesterday, on November 30th, [redacted], I made a reservation through Agoda for Hotel Asia in Jammu. During the booking process, I provided my debit card details and entered the OTP. An amount of $[redacted] was deducted from my debit card. However, after the payment, I did not receive a confirmation page; instead, I was redirected back to the payment page. I have not received any confirmation email or booking ID. I kindly ask for the refund process to be initiated promptly.

I made a payment through Agoda using my Visa debit for booking number [redacted]34. Upon arriving at the hotel, they required a credit card for check-in, which I do not possess. I contacted the manager, Shayna, who mentioned that they have processed the refund on their end. However, the refund also needs to be completed on Agoda's end for me to receive it. The hotel has not charged the credit card Agoda used for payment, so there should not be any issue in refunding the amount they received from my Visa debit card.
