- in September ****, i made reservations through Agoda for a hotel in Seoul, Korea for *th to *th January *****- Upon entering all the credit cards details etc, the page went blank. Subsequently, I did not receive any confirmation email nor did the "booking" appear on my Agoda app at all*- Thereafter, i had made * other reservations with Agoda - * which i had cancelled within the given timeframe and * which i had completed the stay of. For all these * reservations, everything went on as per the norm.*- On *th January ****, i received an email from Agoda indicating i had a No-Show Booking and that i will be (or more like i had already been) charged. I immediately called Agoda to lodge a report. I first spoke to a most unhelpful staff who didn't even bother to understand my case. Then i called back again and spoke to Sherman Lim. He took down my points and told me that he had been given the green light to escalate the matter to the IT department and that i will get an answer on whether a technical issue had occurred within **-** hours. *- I didn't get any reply so i called back on Saturday, **th January **** to follow up and spoke to Kayla. She told me that it was being looked into and to give Agoda more time.*- It's now the end of Monday (**th January ****) and i have yet to hear from Agoda. I tried calling again but couldn't get connected and have dropped a Messenger message as well.
