I had a disappointing experience with the hotel I booked through Agoda. Despite paying extra for a more relaxing stay, the noise pollution from roosters, barking dogs, and passing vehicles around the villa made it hard to enjoy. I could even hear locals at 5:30 in the morning and 1:00 at night. I regret not choosing a cheaper hotel like Yogi or Suka Beach Hotel nearby. I'd like to cancel my last day's reservation, switch to another hotel like Yogi Beach House, and receive a partial refund to align with their rates. Additionally, I had to move rooms three times in three days, causing inconvenience. The hotel claims Agoda is responsible for addressing these issues, but I hope they can take some accountability.

I made a reservation on January 4th, [redacted] at Capital O [redacted] Hotel Kanishka International in Vijayapura, Bijapur, Karnataka, India. The booking is for 1 room, 2 nights between Saturday, January 4th, and Monday, January 6th, [redacted], for which I paid Rs.[redacted].48 using my VISA HDFC Bank Card. My AGODA Identification is [redacted], and my booking ID is [redacted]89. The booking was made for my wife, Dr. Roopa Ghanta. Unfortunately, the hotel did not honor our reservation stating they did not receive payment from OYO or AGODA. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue with AGODA and OYO, we were forced to find alternative accommodation after waiting for more than 2 hours. I made a hotel reservation in Bali for October, canceled it due to the distant date, and incurred a nearly $[redacted] loss due to a 'no refund' policy despite canceling within two hours. My partner and I decided to reinstate the booking to avoid further financial loss. Contacting Agoda has been challenging, but they agreed to a partial refund. I wanted to share my experience with booking number [redacted]97 at the Grand Bleu Ocean View Pool Suite in Phuket, Thailand. Upon my arrival on January 4, [redacted], I was informed that my room was not ready until 5pm. The hotel offered me a different room but without access to the pool, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, especially since I was with my child. They suggested a late check-out the next day, which did not work with my early flight. The property owner proposed canceling the booking, and I even made another reservation through Agoda (booking number: [redacted]61). It seems there is confusion about the refund process between the hotel and the booking platform.

Booking ID [redacted]73 I have recently made a reservation at Pier One Sydney for 3 nights, referencing the booking ID provided. I utilized your app for the booking. I was surprised to discover that the price shown was in USD only after completing the payment, as I am located in Australia and expected the amount to be displayed in Australian Dollars. The reservation is non-refundable and has already been charged to my credit card. I believe this lack of transparency is misleading on Agoda's part. I now wish to cancel the booking and receive a full refund. I have also realized that I was charged more than if I had booked directly through your website in Australian Dollars, which feels like an additional inconvenience. Hello, I wanted to share an issue I had with Agoda regarding a recent booking at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast in late December. Despite receiving a confirmation email and a follow-up from Agoda, upon reaching the resort, I was told there was no booking. The resort emailed me before check-in, mentioning that Agoda hadn't updated their availability, therefore no rooms were left when I made the reservation. With no alternatives in our price range, we had to return home after traveling hundreds of kilometers. Agoda charged me for the room for 3 days, which hasn't been refunded, leading to our New Year's Eve holiday being ruined. I made a booking at the Park Regis Kuta Hotel with booking ID [redacted]81 for a studio room. However, upon arrival, we were given a standard room with two single beds instead. The room did not match the description on their website, and the cleanliness was subpar. The seats at check-in were dirty, the furniture and sheets were stained, and the bathroom was not clean. I quickly booked another hotel and left without taking photos as I was eager to leave. I am requesting a refund due to the misleading advertising and poor conditions of the room. This is the first time in all my years of traveling that I have been compelled to immediately seek alternative accommodation upon arrival.

When I tried to cancel the initial booking, I was prompted to pay the full amount, despite having a week left to cancel as per my confirmation. I need to address an issue regarding the refund process for a room booking. I made a reservation for a two-night stay and canceled it on January 6th within the free cancellation period, which was supposed to be until today. While booking online for Redoorz@Cilandak Timur in Jakarta, Indonesia, I inputted the correct dates of my stay (09 Jan - 12 Jan [redacted]). However, during the payment process, the selected date range was incorrect. Despite re-entering the correct dates before completing the booking, I was surprised to receive confirmation for a stay from 09 Jan to 18 Jan [redacted], which was not what I had entered initially.

I made a significant error by accidentally booking the same motel twice on December 7th. Specifically, THE BAILEYS MOTEL in Perth. I have sent numerous letters and provided all required details multiple times in my attempts to rectify the situation. The motel manager, Anthony, has also reached out to discuss issuing a refund on my behalf. Despite these efforts, I continue to receive generic responses inquiring about the refund status. My 93-year-old sister had a fall this morning and has been hospitalized; we are unsure of the duration. This trip was intended to celebrate her birthday. I have informed La Quinta Hotel at Tyson/McGee Airport in Knoxville, TN, to release our rooms and have canceled both reservations. I made an error and accidentally cancelled my booking at Coral Cliff El Nido Palawan. I have two bookings, one with free cancellation and the other with payment after booking. I intended to cancel the free cancellation booking but cancelled the wrong one, the Deluxe Queen Balcony Room with the ID booking number [redacted]04. I need help with settling my payment for my booking at H2O Stay Namba through Agoda. I made the booking for Feb 13-18, [redacted], and used my credit card for payment. Although the booking was confirmed on January 8, I received an email on January 9 stating that the payment processing was unsuccessful. It requested that I use another credit card to settle the payment but I kept receiving messages that the details were invalid. I have tried 4 different credit cards without success. The property has given me until 12MN today to settle the payment, or else the booking might be cancelled. If the booking is cancelled due to this payment issue, will I be charged on the initial credit card I used? I selected the option with no free cancellation. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Hello, I had a booking at Thamarai resort on 27th and 28th December [redacted] with booking id [redacted]69. Upon arrival, we encountered no food, poor network, and the place was 2km away from the main road, which did not feel safe for our family. We found out that even the restaurant was closed for renovation. Due to the lack of basic amenities, we requested a cancellation. Despite efforts from both ourselves and the Thamarai team, including Mr. Uttarabalan, we were unable to reach Agoda for the cancellation. Thankfully, Mr. Vijay from Thamarai resort provided a cancellation and refund confirmation, allowing us to leave. However, we have not received the refund till today. Unfortunately, contacting the Agoda team has been unsuccessful using the provided details and even through chat messages.

On the first of January, I mistakenly booked for the first of February instead of January. Consequently, I had to reserve another room in a different hotel. I tried to reach the reservations office at Ibis Hotel that day to change my booking to the correct date, but they were closed. As a KLM flight attendant who occasionally books rooms due to early departures, it is disappointing to have a room booked that I won't be using. Given the circumstances, it would be greatly appreciated if I could rebook for a date that aligns with my work schedule. I don't have an unlimited budget, so this situation feels like a waste of money. I would be thankful if you could assist me with this matter.

I wanted to share my concerns about my recent experience at Next Stop Roma Affittacamere Casilino in Rome. First, the hotel advertised 24/7 check-in on Agoda but charged us an extra 20EUR for arriving after 6pm, which was not clearly stated in the policy. Second, the heating, listed as an amenity, was turned off at night, making it difficult to sleep due to the cold. Third, additional city taxes were not disclosed beforehand on Agoda, and we received conflicting information about the amounts due. Additionally, the host was rude when addressing these issues and even threatened us regarding the city tax payment. Lastly, there was a cleanliness issue with a cockroach in the kitchen for multiple days. We are disappointed with the experience and hope for a satisfactory resolution with Agoda. Thank you.
