If Booking.com calls the hotel, and the hotel denies the refund, you can always call the hotel directly yourself to make your case for a refund.

I just booked via Agoda for the property at Sayulita beach and when I went to press the pay button or confirmation button it came up with a message saying this had timed out. I then went on to book the same room again and it wasn't available however it had told me that I hadn't booked it. I put in my ccard details etc... and I hope I haven't been charged. I have then gone on to book another property as we couldn't get this room we wanted. It stated no cancellation which is fine however it told me it had timed out and now I have just checked my emails and it says we have booked?? this is not right. Can you please refund this to me asap as I am not paying for this accommodation when it said I had not booked it.
