I reserved a stay at Grace Hostel, set for Oct 14-16. I accidentally booked a female-only room, intending to have a male companion. Then, I canceled that booking and made a new one for the same dates in a mixed dorm. Upon reviewing my card transactions, I noticed I was charged for both bookings. I am seeking a refund for the canceled reservation.

Hello, I'm John C. W. I recently made a reservation at Dragons Home Inn in the Philippines from November 23rd to December 5th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I overlooked the time zone difference between Canada and the Philippines. I will depart from Canada on the 23rd but won't arrive until the 25th of November. I am willing to pay to reserve the room for those additional days. Can you please inform the Dragon Home Inn that my arrival date is on the 25th of November instead of the 23rd? Dear all, I recently made a reservation at the Grand Hotel in Ljubjana through Agoda for a one-night stay on October 18-19, [redacted]. My booking ID is [redacted]23. I'm unable to contact Agoda directly to cancel my reservation. Unfortunately, due to Adria Airline's bankruptcy, I am no longer able to fly to Ljubljana as my tickets are no longer valid. Therefore, I kindly request assistance with canceling my reservation. Thank you.

I require assistance with modifying our booking in Japan due to an approaching typhoon. Our reservations are currently set for the 11th to 12th at the Nikko Tokinoyuu Hotel in Nikko, and from the 13th to the 23rd at the Nippon Sinenkan Hotel in Tokyo, Shinjuku, booked under my name, Yael Cohen, through my Agoda account, CohenYahel. The typhoon is anticipated to affect Tokyo from the 12th to 14th, putting us at risk. We are unable to contact the hotels to request changing our plans to either cancel our stay in Nikko and reserve an earlier room in Tokyo or to cancel the first two nights in Tokyo and book two additional nights in Nikko.

Booking [redacted] I arrived at the accommodation and found it did not match the advertisement online. The pool and gardens were in poor condition. The resort manager assured me that Agoda still had my payment and that I would not be charged for at least one night, possibly two. Despite canceling the booking on your site, I have still been charged. This has been my worst experience with Agoda. I kindly request a refund and ask for an investigation into the resort's practices, as it is not in good condition.

Booking ID [redacted]81 and [redacted]17 Hello Agoda, I am writing to address an issue I encountered while trying to book a room at the Mantra on Edward Hotel in Brisbane, Australia, through your website on 30/9/[redacted]. I was booking for a one-night stay on October 1st, checking out on October 2nd. Despite receiving session timeout errors during the booking process, I later found out that I had unintentionally made two bookings, as I received confirmation for both attempts (see attached screenshots). However, when I checked my Agoda account, it showed no bookings. As a result, I have been charged for two rooms when I only require one. I recently received an email stating there was an issue processing my credit card for booking number [redacted]37. I updated my credit card information as per the instructions and received confirmation of the booking. However, I was surprised to receive a new email today indicating that my booking has been cancelled. I am quite concerned as I have already made arrangements for my trip to Pattaya, including booking my flight tickets. I am certain that there are no issues with my Visa card regarding this booking. Kindly investigate this matter urgently.

I reserved a hotel room for my stay on the 11th of October, [redacted], arriving at 3:00 AM. Unfortunately, upon arrival, no rooms were available. I had to cancel the booking as I wouldn't be able to use it. I will be out for a meeting at 8:00 AM and returning late in the evening to catch a flight back to Cebu City. Even though I specified my arrival time between 3:00-4:00 AM in Agoda's check-in question, the confirmation email stated the check-in time as 2:00 PM. I made the reservation early in the morning to prepare for my meeting. It's frustrating that it's a non-refundable booking, especially considering the circumstances. I feel like I'm losing money unjustly when there was no room available despite indicating my arrival time during booking.

On September 19th, I booked a room at Coyotes Hotel and Conference Center through Agoda.com for check-in on September 21st. I paid with my credit card, but upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that the hotel no longer works with Agoda and hadn't accepted bookings for three months. We had to find another room and pay again as no refund could be given immediately. I am seeking assistance in obtaining a refund as I did not receive the services I paid for. I have already contacted you via email regarding this matter. I am requesting a refund because I did not receive a confirmation after making the original booking, and I am unable to locate the details of the reservation. The terms stated that payment would be processed two weeks before the booking date. I waited until 10 days before the booking date for any communication from your end but did not receive any. Consequently, I booked alternative accommodation. Yesterday, your company charged me $[redacted].72. I have contacted my bank, and they provided me with reference number R61799. If a refund is not issued promptly, I will dispute the charge and escalate the issue further.

We made a reservation with Agoda booking ID [redacted]91 in the name of Albee Albello for 2 nights from October 3rd to 5th. A Rayna Agoda Agent assured us we could modify the 2nd night for a future date if the hotel agreed. Upon check-in, the Front Office Manager, Rochelle, confirmed this, instructing us to call Agoda to update the new date without mentioning the need for Agoda's confirmation. With this agreement and assurance, we stayed only for one night. However, Rochelle later informed us that we couldn't receive a credit note for a future stay unless Agoda approved, causing frustration as we had discussed using our full payment if unable to modify. We've been attempting to contact Agoda by phone but only reach voicemail. Speaking with an agent directly would provide the necessary confirmation for our future stay modification.

On the 10th of September [redacted], I initiated a reservation with ID [redacted]47, but encountered issues submitting necessary documents for fraud verification and left the process incomplete. I then began a new reservation with a different credit card, only to discover that the initial reservation was still active. As a result, both reservations (ID [redacted]47 and ID [redacted]51) for the Banyan Tree Phuket are currently in progress but not finalized. Kindly cancel the aforementioned reservations so I can proceed with a fresh booking or provide guidance on the next steps to take. Thank you.

Hello, I would like to request your assistance. I made a hotel reservation last Tuesday. Unfortunately, my mother, who was supposed to join me, had a sudden health issue and had to be hospitalized for a mild stroke. It looks like she won't be able to travel for the next few months. The reservation was for four people - myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my sister. Now only my mother-in-law and I can go on the trip since my sister needs to care for my mom after she leaves the hospital. Can you please help me modify my reservation and arrange for a refund? I reserved a Japanese style room at Guesthouse Ukiyoe for two adults, expecting the room to be private. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I had booked two beds in a shared room. Thankfully, the guesthouse staff accommodated us by providing a private room. The room type and description on Agoda were misleading as I did not anticipate sharing the room with others. The booking confirmation even stated payment for a room for two adults, not two separate beds. I was disappointed with the lack of clarity on Agoda's part and the support I received when trying to resolve the issue in Japan.

Dear Agoda, I made a reservation for Emerald Gecko in Havelock through your website for 5-9 Oct 19. I had bookings for 5-7 Oct (booking ID: [redacted]37) and for 7-9 Oct (booking ID: [redacted]61). I checked in on 5 Oct but had to leave on 7 Oct morning due to my Bronchial Asthma health condition. Staying in the Bamboo huts triggered an Asthma attack, requiring medical assistance from Havelock's basic services. Despite the support of Mr. Manoj and the staff at Emerald Gecko, I had to check out early for health reasons. I kindly ask for a refund as this is a special circumstance. I apologize for the delay in contacting you, as the poor internet connection in Andaman made it challenging. I just returned today and am reaching out now.

I made a reservation at AOSMEC Hotel in Brgy. Agus, Cebu for October 13 to October 14, [redacted], and paid with my credit card. I requested a late check-in due to my flight arriving late. Upon arrival, my name was not on their list, and I was not able to check-in. I was disappointed by the owner's attitude and ended up booking another hotel. I visited the barangay hall to report the incident, and they were unwelcoming. I kindly request a refund due to the inconvenience of not having a room available and my name not being on the check-in list.

Unfortunately, our experience has been marred by various issues at the hotel. The swimming pool, listed as an amenity during booking, is actually under construction. Additionally, the sauna room has a strong unpleasant odor. Our assigned room has multiple problems including a malfunctioning air conditioner, a faulty toilet flush, presence of cockroaches, lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable bed, and inadequate natural light. As we are here for a leisure vacation, the current conditions have greatly disappointed us.
